I’m getting to this week’s Featured Comment a little later than usual, but I’m here now.
Hyperion wrote something on A Day Made of Littles that stayed with me. He saw the quiet work inside those small moments and named why they matter. His words landed right where the story was already standing.
“There is something about the Littles creating fond memories that make all the struggles to be there for them worth all the effort.” – Hyperion
If you want to read more from Hyperion, his writing lives at Hyperion Sky. He brings the same steady insight to everything he posts.
Thanks so much to everyone who came by and shared something this week. You give this space a pulse.
Thank you for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting. You are important!

Awwwww! Thank you Kymber. Your post touched that soft spot in my heart for children and young adults. I was fortunate to meet people at critical points in my life that cared enough to mentor me and help me be more successful in life. I’ve tried to return that positive energy every chance I get. 🫶☺️
You’ve clearly made good use of what was given to you. It shows in everything you share.🩷🌺
I do try and also make it fun and mysterious. 🪄🧙♂️
You are awesome!
NO, not me. I’m just the guy standing next to the awesome people. I absorb as much as I can.
You give yourself too little credit. Standing next to awesome people still takes someone who can keep up.😊
In a crowded elevator full of black and gray business formal attire, I’m the one with the Mickey Mouse tie and the smirk.
That’s what I love about ya’, my friend. 😊😂
LOL! I noticed the cartoon fashion for ties really caught on after a while. I felt loved and accepted. I was with my people. 😁😁😁😁😁
That made me laugh. There’s something perfect about finding your people through cartoon‑level fashion choices. It’s a rare kind of belonging, and I’m sure you wore it well.
LOL! 😁. My coworkers and I befuddled the most stoic of non-believers. The dress code strictly forbade any form of clothing that portrayed religion, nationality, sports, gender affirmation, or personal party affiliation. They even went so far as dictating the type of underwear female employees could wear. Cheaters were disciplined severely. In this scenario, we, who were considered the national treasures of intelligentsia in the geopolitical science and technology world, instantly put our meager brain power to work finding ways to circumvent the rules and enjoy a good laugh at senior management’s chagrin. When queried about my fashion choices, I told them I identified as a dark gothic steampunk vampire and that instantly made me a protected species they couldn’t touch or risk aggravating. Plus, I’d obviously found a loophole in the rules. So, picture me in a gray pinstriped suit, perfectly manicured, short hair carefully arranged, and clearly moisturized wearing business formal eyeglasses and an Uncle Scrooge tie claiming to be a dark gothic steampunk vampire. I tell you, the system of formality and gender neutral rigidity had a nervous breakdown on the spot. Victory was ours.
The fact that you broke a system built entirely on rigidity while wearing a pinstriped suit and an Uncle Scrooge tie is a level of artistry most people never achieve. I’m sure management needed a support group after that.
At first they thought I was eccentric and I didn’t try to change their minds, but after my coworkers picked up on the nuance of fun at work, they thought we might be ingesting recreational herbs. Eventually, management realized we were quite productive and so rather than sabotage their Christmas bonuses they always received for our hard work, they let us have our fun but, they wouldn’t compromise on underwear, so I never told them about the Flintstones Bam Bam boxers.
I’m still laughing at the idea of management trying to enforce underwear rules while you’re quietly strolling around in Bam Bam boxers. That’s exactly the kind of loophole mischief I’d expect from you. Eccentric, productive, and just dangerous enough to keep everyone guessing.😂
We INFJ Floridian Pisces have our own internal universe which insists all darkness must be approached with humor. I and my coworkers did our best to carry the torch of hilarity. As a result, I worked there for 25 years and loved every minute of it. The probability of impossibility and impracticality was always very high and to ensure positive outcomes, we practiced Willy-Nilly to and fro whenever possible. 😁
Your internal universe sounds like it ran that place more than any official policy ever did. Twenty‑five years of Willy‑Nilly management… I’m not surprised you loved it. YAY for INFJ’s too! 😀😊
We INFJs really are uniquely qualified to unravel the mysteries of the universe. We ignore the flat earthers and forge ahead.
INFJs really do seem built for sorting out the universe. You make it sound like second nature.
While we INFJ remain the rarest of personalities, when I add my Pisces traits, they seem to blend into a mystery that is an enigma even to me. I do like it that way.
That is a lovely comment, and have a wonderful weekend, Kymber.
