Oh man, this touched me in so many ways. I laid my boy Golli to rest beneath a glorious red rose last year. All of my furbabies rest beneath roses, and the blooms tell me that they have become one with the rose, immortal in their beauty.

i feel both the piercing pain and pure love in this piece. i am sending grace. they never leave you, it’s only because heaven has too few angels, and even then the grand compromise is that they have to be allowed to be with their loved ones back on earth, even if to stay nestled in their hearts.
