Cat Logic, Told in a Limerick

For Esther’s Laughing Along with a Limerick challenge, using the prompt word “eyes.”

A woman rolled her eyes at the sight
Of a cat who’d been up half the night.
He’d shredded her chair
With a look of “don’t care,”
Then curled up, pretending he’d been polite.

One of my cat pics – proud tuxedo cat sitting in a shredded chair – was turned into a meme that says, “No… I antiqued it. Worth MOAR now!”

That’s exactly the attitude. They destroy something, sit in the middle of it like they improved the value, and dare anyone to disagree. Your tuxedo cat had the right logic. Love the wording for the meme!

Kymber, this is absolutely perfect! That moment when the cat looks at the destruction the shredded chair with complete indifference, and then curls up like nothing happened? I feel this in my bones. The ‘look of don’t care’ is so exactly how cats operate. They live in a world where their logic is impeccable and everyone else is just not understanding the assignment. Brilliant limerick! 😹

Much love,
Khadija 💕🤗

You described that look perfectly. Cats never question their choices. They just curl up and carry on. I’m glad the limerick hit the mark. Much love to you, Khadija.🩷🌺

That is a very amusing riddle. Cats are funny. I don’t have one but I know. My son have two.
