You Couldn’t Be More Wrong, a Repost

by Kymber @booomcha
70 comments 2 minutes read

You said I regret leaving you
But you couldn’t be more wrong
Because the moment I was free of you
My heart filled with song

A feeling washed over me
You could say it was relief
When I no longer had to please you
Or care what you think

Leaving was the best thing
And now I’m really smiling
Because I traded in the jack-ass
For a strong, and handsome stallion

This one has also a great attitude and she got enough. I was thinking, could this guy get her back in some way, could he do something which changed all…

I’ve actually wondered that, too. I imagine he wanted to hurt very badly.

That response is interesting 🤔 If you some day know what would change it all then tell me. This is so deep thing that it got me interested.

Sometimes leaving is the right thing. May it be a company, a friendship, a partnership, even family. If you feel better without, then take the right step.
A very good friend of mine always responds, “Happily divorced,” when someone asks her if she is single. It always makes me chuckle.

Reply
Kymber Hawke August 21, 2024 - 12:06 pm

That makes me chuckle, too. LOL I appreciate your kind words of wisdom. You’re right. Sometimes there is no “fix” for a relationship. Sometimes leaving is the best and only thing you can do.

Oh WOW !!! Now that was a punch to the gut. Very Powerful . I feel sorry for the recipient of this Powerful work of Expressing Art.

Reply
Kymber Hawke August 21, 2024 - 11:14 am

Thank you, Willie. I can definitely see why you feel that way. It’s an ode to survivors of domestic violence. 🌺

Reply
Willie Torres Jr. August 21, 2024 - 2:23 pm

Oh, I understand, and I assure you, no disrespect was intended. What I meant was that the person this was addressed to should feel ashamed because your words were so powerful. I didn’t pity them, as if they deserved sympathy. Instead, I meant it as a call for them to face what they’ve done and listen to your voice. There’s no need for them to hide and avoid hearing the truth, but they should indeed feel shame. That’s how I intended it.

Reply
Kymber Hawke August 21, 2024 - 2:45 pm

Thank you so much, Willie. I understand. I appreciate your comment and the fact that we can talk about things that are uncomfortable. May you have a blessed day.

Reply
bmitjessesue August 21, 2024 - 11:25 am

“I feel sorry for the recipient of this” I think this comment needs more explaining because I’m not sure if I understand where your thought process came from. Kymber is too kind to ask this, but re read her response to you and I think you can understand why she is happier now. She is a survivor.

Reply
Willie Torres Jr. August 21, 2024 - 3:43 pm

I’m sorry . I didn’t mean any disrespect at all. Maybe I shouldn’t have commented because it came out wrong .

Reply
bmitjessesue August 21, 2024 - 4:06 pm

Willie, I figured you didn’t mean it as it sounded. Hopefully I did not sound too harsh. After everything Kymber has been through I am very over protective of her. My apologies as well.
