A note from Kymber: On August 14, my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! Our family all came together to enjoy this occasion with them.
When they got married, they went to a Detroit Tiger game on their honeymoon. So, what better way to commemorate this event then to take them to a Tiger game? It was so much fun!
I also wrote a poem for them:
Sixty rings of laughter entwined,
roots sprawling like ancient oaks,
each daughter a star,
each grandchild a sunbeam,
each great-grandchild a new dawn,
their voices a chorus,
a tapestry of warmth,
woven through seasons of time—
Ray and Shari, a timeless embrace.
Love you always, Krissy, Kimmy, and Kari

Is it really you? Welcome back, you were missed and hope all is well. Love those big smiles on your mom and dad’s face. I’m a little over half way to sixty years, I got a late start. I’ll be 95 on my 60th wedding anniversary. I’m hoping my kids will drop by and bring me some Pear Wine and apple fritters to celebrate. 🥂🥮

So glad you bounced back to your former Glory. I do recommend an occasional non-digital day with a glass of pear wine and warm apple fritter. After that, resisting the urge to be productive is so much easier. 😉

Wow that’s a landmark achievement what a beautiful testament to love . Happy 60th to them… my husbands parents have been married 65 and it’s amazing to see them be one another’s right and left arm so naturally. Absolutely beautiful!
