The Veil of Midnight’s Dance

Upon the floor where shadows glide,
A masked muse weaves her silent spell,
Her eyes a secret, dark and wide,
Where dreams and whispered legends dwell.

The ballad’s tune in chambers old,
Calls forth a realm of gilded gleam,
Where beauty’s veiled stories unfold,
And freedom flows through every dream.

In masquerade’s enchanted art,
The hidden face reveals the heart.

This poem is beautiful and speaks of deep truths hidden behind the masks we wear. It came to me as a confirmation of what I had just finished Journaling about. Thank Kimber.
