Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #73:
- If you became Earth’s official tour guide to aliens, where would you take them?
- If you could explore the deepest oceans, get on a rocket to space, or visit 60 countries, which one would you choose & why?
- What controversial opinions do you enjoy sharing with others?
Here are my answers:
- I’d take them home and try to get them to clean the house. 😁😂
- I’d go to 60 countries because I’m adventurous, but not that adventurous.
- That cats need claws, and orcas and dolphins belong in the oceans, free.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Thank you! I can’t wait to read your answers!
I wasn’t able to comment as I couldn’t sign in. Which is most likely a problem on my end.
Here is what I was going to say:
i love your answers! I think taking the aliens to the movies is a great idea!
We’re the same about visiting 60 countries.
I think this is a great answer!
Thank you so much for playing. I hope this week is treating you well.
On my home page I have a list of all the challenges that I could find on WordPress and with the help of the hosts. It is updated as of last month and I added yours to Wednesdays.
Thank you so much! 🙏 That’s very kind. 🌸
I agree about orchas and dolphins belonging in the ocean! Lol at the alien question! You picked 60 countries, and so did I!
That is awesome! And I’ve just heard a couple of captive orcas will be released to a seaside sanctuary soon. I’m so happy about it. 🩷🩷🩷

Oooooh. Another Get to Know You
1) I’d take them to the poorer areas so they could see how so many treat the less fortunate. Maybe they could make sense of it.
2) 60 countries, not a great swimmer and no need to go into space.
3) That the most dangerous animal on the planet is man.
Have a good day Kymber.
Allan
Now that is a great idea!
I agree with you on that one.
Yes! So true!
Thank you so much for playing, Allan. Happy Friday!
Ok, I’d take the ali ns everywhere we have gone in our three years on the bus and show them the beauty of our country.
I’d explore the deepest oceans because that sounds very calming to me. I’m tired of chaos.
Why America is sick, can’t drive, and what we should do with the homeless population.
That sounds great, Kim!
I am tired of chaos, too. That would be nice.
All of those are important issues.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Hi Kymber, these are interesting questions. I enjoyed your responses. With regards to an alien visitation, their intentions would be the deciding factor as to where I sent them. I’m not sure if I’d want to do any of the options you presented for 2. Animals should have equal rights to humans.
Yes, I can see how that would be, needing to know their intentions first.
Yes, thank you. That is so important.
Thank you for playing, Robbie! I loved reading your answers.
Good morning, my friend. I apologize for not keeping up better. Things have been pretty hectic around here, lately.
I like your answers. I agree with your opinion on claws.
1) If I had to give aliens a tour, I would take them to my favorite places. I would show them the coasts of Oregon and New England. I would show them New England in the fall. I would take them to a baseball game. I would take them to our favorite cabin in Glen Rose, Texas. I would show them roller coasters and give them a ride, if they wanted one.
2) I, too, would choose visiting 60 countries. Space is dangerous; it wants to kill me. And I’ve only ever been to one country outside the U.S. and that was Mexico, which hardly counts, because it’s practically in our back yard, you know? Also, that would give me more things/places to show the aforementioned aliens, like Neuschwanstein Castle and the beautiful cathedrals in Italy and other things.
3) Oh, dear. I have some controversial opinions, but I don’t like sharing them. I rarely share them with anyone other than my wife and mother (and my pastor, occasionally). Some may think me cowardly for this, but that’s not the reason. The reason is that I’m supposed to love all people and controversial opinions are divisive. They also don’t figure into my “job description,” which is to love God and love people.
No worries. I know how it is. 🙂
I think that’s a wonderful way to treat the Aliens. lol Sounds beautiful.
Point taken. 😀
Your response is great, not cowardly at all. I love it!
Thank you so much for playing. It’s great to see you.
As I told people at church, last Sunday, it’s GOOD to be seen! LOL!!
LOL Right on, Jeff!
I’d love to take the aliens to the Sydney Opera House, I’d go to outer space (preferably the alien’s home), and I believe that humans are inherently good (no matter what is playing out in the world right now)!
That would be lovely to go to the Sydney Opera House!
Now that is clever, to go visit them.
I believe you are right.
Thank you so much for playing. I hope you’re having a terrific week!
Great questions!
1. If you became Earth’s official tour guide to aliens, where would you take them? We would take them to a national park to go hiking and see the beauty of nature.
2. If you could explore the deepest oceans, get on a rocket to space, or visit 60 countries, which one would you choose & why? We would visit 60 countries as we are not interested in what is in the ocean and have no interest in space but we love seeing places on our planet.
3. What controversial opinions do you enjoy sharing with others? Ours may be rather silly but Mom doesn't believe in conformation for dogs as she says it is the most unfair thing she knows of but a lot of people love it. We stick to sports as they are fair.
That hike would be lovely and I think they’d appreciate that.
I agree with you there!
And, I don’t think that’s silly at all. I had a Pomeranian whose tail didn’t curl right. But he was the cutest pup ever.
Thank you so much for playing. I hope you’re having a great week!

Thank you, Di! I can’t wait to read your answers.
As I sniff and lurk around the porch I like the smells so will be back later to bark 🤒
LOL All righty! Sounds good! So glad you like the porch. You’re always welcome!
I like your first answer best it made me think how would they react if taken to a hoarders house
Thank you, Joanne. They might get a bit of a shock seeing a hoarder’s house, but then, they might be hoarders, too. LOL
I like your answers especially # 1, and yes cats need to keep their claws! Here are my answers: https://wp.me/p3RE1e-nzi
Thank you so much! 🌺💗 I’m glad you understand about the claws. I feel pretty strongly about it.
Thank you for the link! I can’t wait to read your answers! 🌺💗 Have a great day!
[…] Get to Know You #73! […]
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to read your answers!
I’d probably take them to the library.
I’m too claustrophobic for the ocean, but I’d love to go into space.
None immediately come to mind, but I’m with you on #3.
That’s a terrific idea, Teri!
That frightens me, but you go, girl! lol
Thank you for understanding about #3. It’s important to me.
Thank you for playing. It’s so good to see you.
How embarrassing! I totally forgot to take the aliens to the library!
lol
Kymber your questions are alway super creative. Well done. I like your answer to number three.
Thank you, Suzette! I don’t just pull them out of thin air. A lot of them have been gleaned from the internet, here and there.
I’m glad you liked the answer to #3. It’s very important to me.
Absolutely. I agree with your answer to number 3. Kymber. Thanks so much for your shares.
Thank you, Suzette. 🌺💗🌺💗
tell em to fuck off and go home but they re too smart to appear
nowhere i m a home body
and i do not like humanity as a rule but Jesus is so good to me dear!
Great answers!
I’m a homebody, too, tbh. I would like to see the world but I’m perfectly happy being home, too.
He is good all the time. 🙂
Thank you so much for playing!
Thought-provoking questions, Kymber! 🤔 Not sure aliens would be too interested in cleaning your house, but definitely agree with your third answer. Declawing cats is a cruel procedure. 😕
I would take the aliens to the ancient ruins in Europe, to give them a sense of human history. (And give me a good excuse to revisit them. 😉)
Definitely visit 60 countries! Going into space, or the depths of the ocean seem too adventurous for me as well.
I mostly keep my opinions to myself, but I will say that we all need to mind our own business and don’t judge others. “Live and Let Live”. ☮️
You’re right, of course. I just didn’t know what to say. LOL
Thank you for understanding about declawing cats. I really hate that practice.
Now, that’s a great answer to the aliens!
I so agree with your opinion and believe it to be true.
Thank you so much for playing!
I would do the 60 countries too. How fun.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Kymber. Love and healing hugs. ♥
That would be fun!
Hope you’re having a great week, Sandee! Love and hugs! 🌺💗
Hello Kymber… What awesome questions!
If you became Earth’s official tour guide to aliens, where would you take them?
To Newfoundland to see the colour of our cities, hear the different dialects we have here, and meet the friendly people and various wildlife unique to this Island in the Atlantic Ocean.
If you could explore the deepest oceans, get on a rocket to space, or visit 60 countries, which one would you choose & why?
I would explore the deepest Oceans to see the various life living in them. The Oceans hold so many mysteries still that we don’t know much about.
What controversial opinions do you enjoy sharing with others?
My take on why I believe I was bullied online for so long. Not many people are willing to believe that a total stranger from my last workplace would do what they did to me for 9 years.
Hi, there, Lorrie! Great to see you!
Newfoundland would definitely be the place to go!
You’re so right about the deepest depths of the ocean!
That’s a long time. I’m sorry that happened to you.
Thank you so much for playing! I hope you are having a blessed week.
Wow, those are thought-provoking questions today. I’ll think a while and get back to ya on those!
You bet, Kim! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
