Unbound by Glass and Tether

In the depths of sapphire dreams, the orca glides,
an opus of grace,
unbound by glass and tether,
dancing with the tides of freedom.

Each stroke through salt and sunlight,
a testament to beauty’s journey—
with every leap, a whisper of hope, reminding us:
there is strength in being wild.

I hope you get to!

My daughter recently was able to see them in the wild, from a pretty long distance, but it had been something she dreamed about from a very young age.

Kymber Hawke September 16, 2024 - 8:42 am

I’m so glad she got to fulfill that dream. My trip to Alaska where I had an excursion to see them was canceled three different times because of COVID. It was not a good time to travel.
