A Sheet by the Sea

For Esther’s Laughing Along with a Limerick challenge, using the prompt word “sheet.”

There once was a poet named Bree,
Who wrote on a sheet by the sea.
But a strong ocean breeze
Whipped her words through the trees,
And her poem took flight, running free.

Nicely done! Confession – I wondered if it might be a bit more, um, raunchy (as most limericks are). 😉

Kymber August 3, 2026 - 3:31 pm

Thanks, Pam. I kept this one on its best behavior. 😄

Okay, confession time – I’m giggling now… “Its” best behaviour or “your” best behaviour??? xx

Reply
Kymber August 3, 2026 - 4:58 pm

Maybe both were behaving for once. Stranger things have happened. 😂🩷
