This Week’s Featured Comment from Allan

Some comments carry a little heart, and this week’s pick comes from Allan. He left a note on my What I Never Saw in Her Face post that struck me.

“Amazing what we think we know from looking at someone. Sometimes we are way off base and do not know what lies behind their stoic face until we ask. Happy Monday Kymber. Allan”

Some comments open the door a little wider on the idea itself. This one pressed a little further into the question of what we think we see in a face that stays still. I tucked his words here because they deepen that idea at the end.

You can find his writing at Picture This.

This week brought in such good comments. Thank you for the warmth you bring here.

Thank you for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting. You are important!

It’s a great comment,
and the perfect reminder to take a little extra time
to sense the essence of the person we’re seeing.
There’s more to each one of us beyond our appearance 😊

Thank you. Allan’s words really struck me, and I liked the reminder to slow down and really see people. There’s always more to someone than what we catch at first glance. 😊

You’re welcome, and what you’ve said is so true 😊 Taking the time to ‘sense’ another person’s nature has truly nothing to do with the way they look ✨

Thanks for the shoutout Kymber and for recognizing the value of my thought. We often say “everyone has a story” when we get a glimpse into the life of others. Have a wonderful Thursday Kymber. Allan

Thank you, Allan. That thought about everyone having a story is exactly why your comment stood out to me. Hope your Thursday’s a good one.
