Your Kindness Meant More Than You Know

I’ve been away longer than I planned, and I’m still working my way back to feeling like myself, but I wanted to return here and speak to you with a clear heart. Your support didn’t fade while I was gone. Your likes, your comments, your well wishes. I noticed all of it. It reached me on days when I needed something gentle, and it reminded me that this place holds real connection. You showed me that, and I’m grateful.

Thank you for staying close. Thank you for giving me room to step back without stepping away from me. I’m easing in again, slowly, and with appreciation for every person who kept this space warm in my absence. Your presence matters. Your kindness matters. I carry it with me.

Get to Know You Thursdays will continue. I’m looking forward to bringing those back and sharing them with you again.

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Awww, so glad things are better. I’ve been away from blogs this week, trying to finish up some languishing projects. Our health is our most valuable asset. Without it, nothing else matters.

Thank you, Jan. I’m glad things are better too. It sounds like you’ve had a full week with those projects, and I hope you’re able to wrap them up without too much strain. You’re right about health. When it slips, everything else feels secondary. I appreciate you taking the time to check in.

I’m always with you, Kymber. It’s always my pleasure! Thank you so much for your lovely words! ☺️

Meanwhile, I was dealing with Wi-Fi issues where the router would crash nonstop. The crashes only reduced recently, and I was able to use mobile data at the time. Let’s hope this Wi-Fi issue ends today. 🙏

Let the cat posts flow again! 🐈😻

Thank you, Aptivi. I’m glad you’re here. I’m sorry about the Wi‑Fi trouble. Constant crashes are exhausting, especially when you’re trying to stay connected. I hope it settles down for you today. Mobile data can only carry so much. Here’s hoping for steady signal and plenty of cat posts ahead.🐈😺🌺

You’re most welcome, Kymber. I hope we get it sorted. If everything worked, I’ll make a post about it. Yeah, they’re so exhausting, and limited mobile data doesn’t help either. Thank you so much for your kind wishes ☺️ 🌸

Thank you, Aptivi. I hope it all smooths out for you. Limited data makes everything feel heavier, and I know how draining that can be. I’m glad you’re sticking with it, and I’ll watch for your post if everything finally behaves.🌺😊

We all need some time for different reasons at different times. When we travel we often can’t get around to visit blogs as we just have no extra time. Hope you are feeling like yourself again soon. We’re going to MI next weekend, so if you hear some howling it might be us, LOL!

I know many who take multiple breaks. I’m usually too far gone to tell people I’m going offline and, 1 time, it led to a couple followers coordinating to drive a couple hundred miles to check on me. Luckily, I found out before they left. I was extremely touched… and told them about police Welfare Checks. I hot one of those a month ago, another unplanned disappearance and a friend in AZ got freaked out.

Reply
Kymber September 11, 2026 - 8:19 pm

That really is a lot to go through. It must have hit you in a strange mix of worry and gratitude to know people cared enough to plan a trip like that. I’m glad you found out before they left. It says so much about the kind of connection you’ve built with people. Thank you for trusting me with this.

Reply
leendadll September 11, 2026 - 9:03 pm

Yeah. For me, those moments usually hit because I’ve absorbed others worries, an overwhelmed, and my support systems are not available. I want people to notice, but also want to be left alone. Most often, people who notice are not the same as who I wish would notice. I feel invisible, even if others are trying to reach out to me. It’s stupid… but it happens, and logic doesn’t work.

Kymber September 12, 2026 - 10:24 am

I understand what you’re saying. Those moments hit hard when you’ve taken on too much and the people you usually rely on aren’t there. Wanting to be noticed while wanting space at the same time can feel impossible to sort out. Feeling seen by the wrong people and unseen by the right ones is painful. It isn’t stupid. It happens, and logic doesn’t fix it.
