The town’s up now, mostly. Someone’s mowing even though it’s too hot, and someone else is walking a dog that clearly disagrees with the plan. The diner’s full, the porch chairs are occupied, and the air smells like coffee and grass clippings.
Binxie’s claimed the rocker again, watching it all like he’s the mayor. The chair has its scars, and he has opinions. He looks like he’s guarding the town’s secrets, or maybe just waiting for lunch.
It’s that kind of Sunday, half awake, half productive, and fully small town. Everyone’s doing something, but no one’s in a hurry.
If you’re reading this, I hope your Sunday has a little humor in it. Maybe even a nap. This town’s good at both.

I am now a follower of the Binxie Way of life. I just woke up from my nap and decided to stay up until dinner. I remained the head of household even tho I didn’t perform any head of household chores. They have officially been put off until tomorrow. I’m really liking this, Kymber. It was a great suggestion.
This cracked me up. The Binxie Way clearly works. A nap, a calm afternoon, and dinner as the main event sounds perfect. Putting off chores until tomorrow feels like the right kind of wisdom.
