Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
───── ⋆⋅Round #95⋅⋆ ─────
1. What’s your current comfort snack?
2. What small thing recently made your day easier?
3. What’s the most ridiculous thing you were weirdly proud of this week?
───── ⋆⋅Here are my answers⋅⋆ ─────
- String cheese and grape tomatoes. It’s basically adult Lunchables energy and I’m not mad about it.
- Found my keys in the spot I already checked. I felt like a detective who keeps losing the case file.
- Caught a falling pen like I was in an action movie. Peak athleticism.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

I would have liked to see that pen maneuver!
I moved a 100 pound boulder by myself!
You are way better than me. Lol 😂
I think that pen move strained my back. 🤣
My first time participating in one of these, although I’ve been lurking for some time!
What’s your current comfort snack? I haven’t had dairy for almost 2 years for health reasons but before that, cheese was my ALL TIME favorite comfort snack! Any kind, goat, feta, gorgonzola, brie, sharp cheddar, muenster, gouda… okay now that I’m done reminiscing and drooling on my keyboard, my current answer would be olive tapenade and gluten free crackers.
What small thing recently made your day easier? My partner got me this pump with a nozzle attachment that goes in a bucket of water, and now instead of refilling my watering jug 5 times, I can walk around watering my houseplants with the 1 bucket and spray nozzle 😀
What’s the most ridiculous thing you were weirdly proud of this week? Meeting up with a friend I hadn’t seen in about 10 years. I kept putting her off because I was nervous, but we finally had lunch and it was great!
Hi, Kristin! I’m so glad you decided to comment! I always wonder who is out there. 💗🌺
I’m drooling, too! LOL And I just remembered I have brie in the fridge. 😀
Hey, that’s pretty innovative. What a great partner!
I’m so glad you and your friend had a great time. I get the anxiety because I’m that way, too.
Thank you so much for playing! It’s so great to meet you!
Great comfort food!!and pretty impressive accomplishments 🙂
LOL Thank you. 💗🌺
String cheese, or in fact any kind of cheese is another of my favorite and comfort snack.

Totally understandable! lol Thank you so much, can’t wait to see what you said!
Yeah it can feel good when we do something like catching a falling item
Right on. Thank you, Jo-Anne.
Those are fun questions. As for me these are my answers:
Question-1: What’s your current comfort snack? — that would be fruits of various kinds, plums, peaches, oranges, apricots. I love peanuts but I have to go buy them.
Question-2: What small thing recently made your day easier? — There is a new bug in Wordpress that complicates uploading images but I found a way around it. And I reported it to the Happiness Engineers who are working on it.
Question-3. What’s the most ridiculous thing you were weirdly proud of this week? — When I was a young engineer in Sweden I was creating part of the electronics for a Swedish fighter jet called JAS 39 Gripen. This week Ukraine bought 16 JAS 39 Gripen and Sweden donated another 16. I also found out today that Canada is considering buying a mix of American F-35 and Swedish JAS 39 Gripen. That made me kind of proud since I helped build them, but it is a kind of silly thing to be proud of.
Hi, Thomas! I’m glad you liked the questions.
The fruits you listed are lovely. Sounds good!
That’s awesome about your success with the Happiness Engineers. Cool! And by doing so, you’ve made it easier for all of us, too.
That isn’t silly to be proud of. I think that is a wonderful contribution to be proud of.
My current comfort snack is potato chips
My day was made easier by a window-cleaning robot.
I was weirdly proud of fixing a crack in our mountain laurel tree.
A window-cleaning robot! How cool is that?
That’s awesome that you fixed that, John.
Thank you so much for playing!
Great questions, Kymber. Happy 4th of July.
Thank you! Happy 4th of July to you, too!
Such interesting questions, Kymber! 😎 Love your answer to #3. 😀
I’ll try to have something posted later tonight or tomorrow. (I’m slow! 😉) Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you, Debbie! I’m glad you liked that answer. haha
No worries on the timing, it’s all good! Thanks for playing! xo
My favorite snack: Dark Chocolate! What made my day easier? Doing a morning meditation The thing I am the most ridiculously proud of this week? Helping my daughter get labels ready and then returning a huge box full of things from Amazon that needed to go back! 🙂
Yes to dark chocolate!
Morning meditation is such a good practice.
Now that is something to be relieved of and proud of, too! 😀
Here’s my entry 💜

Thank you so much, Maggie! I can’t wait to visit!
I made a chocolate mousse with cottage cheese cheese, cocoa, vanilla, and stevia that was so delicious. Topped it with sugar-free whipped cream and it’s my comfort snack right now.
Discovering that my sweet hubby had found lled my car with gas so I didn’t have to!
My youngest came for a quick visit and was proud of him for taking a trip with a female friend and her two very little girls! (3 and 5)
That chocolate mousse sounds really delish!
That was so nice of your hubby. Now that is a man! 😀
Awww… how nice is that?
Love your answers!
Thanks! I had to think a bit and ask God to show me and He did!
He is good! xo
My grandson commented I have really good reflexes so at 79, that’s truly a compliment!
That’s wonderful, Rugby! Reflexes like that deserve bragging rights. 😊
Here’s mine Kymber

Thank you! I can’t wait to see what your answers are!
I can’t think of a snack, but I’m weirdly proud of learning to count to 19 in Polish. I’m in Poland right now so I’m waiting for it to make my day easier. 😊 Maggie
Hey, that’s terrific, Maggie! What an accomplishment! I hope you’re enjoying your time in Poland.
Interesting questions, and I’ll post mine soon. I liked your answers to # 2, that happens so often to me too! I call it my house ghost playing tricks on me. # 3 haha wonderful move! 🙂
Cool! Can’t wait to see your answers!
I’m glad you liked my answers. I think calling it a house ghost is the perfect thing.
That move isn’t likely to happen again. haha
Great answer Kymber.
Thank you so much, brother!
I was raised on a dairy farm and was very strong and very athletic. There were two girls in our class that played baseball with the boys and we were as adept as they were. By the time we were in the 8th grade the boys passed us up. I’ve not thought of this in years. A fond memory.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Kymber. Love and hugs. ♥
That’s such a great memory, Sandee. I love that you shared it.
Have a wonderful Thursday! Love and hugs. 💗🌺
Love #3
LOL Thank you, Jacqui. My action‑movie career began and ended right there.
— Potato Chips, I should not eat them (carbs) but I love them! 😂
— Nothing really, I’m a retiree and the days are easy breezy.
— Moved my foot fast enough to avoid being stabbed by a steak knife falling off the counter. 👍🏻😳
Those naughty carbs. 🤣
Wow talk about peak athleticism! You beat me, hands down!
Very nice.
Thank you, Vijay! Have a great day!
Good morning and happy timezones!! I really like your answer to number 3!
1) My current comfort snack is either popcorn or chocolate. Dark chocolate with sea salt, and preferably almonds. All of those things are good for me, right?
2) A prayer from a good friend, and conversations with other good friends (all about the same thing). It’s amazing how much good it does to not just keep quiet about something, but reach out for help. We’re way too proud, sometimes.
3) I finished the NY Times Crossword in under nine minutes Tuesday night.
Happy timezones, Jeff! I’m glad you like my answer to #3! It was an amazing move!
Those things are definitely good for you. 😀
I agree about pride. It can be difficult to reach out, but it’s better than holding it in.
Wow! Good on you!
