Happy timezones, cat lovers and friends! Today, Max did a naughty thing. The previous owner of this house painted over the wallpaper and Max can’t leave it alone! Now I need to pull all the wallpaper off and repaint the foyer! But, fear not, he’s not in trouble on account of that cute face of his!
When I think wallpaper I think about the time I helped dad wallpaper the kitchen and swore afterwards never again, my short temped dad got really mad, angry and upset when it didn’t go as planned. Also who paints over wallpaper, that to me is silly
Thank you! I thought the same thing. I think they painted over it because they didn’t want to strip it. Now it’s a much bigger project for us than it would have been if they’d just kept the paper in the first place.
Taking down painted wallpaper will be a challenge, especially if the wallpaper is old. I tried to take down painted wallpaper at the farm and I never completed one eight foot wall before we left. I wish you patience and endurance. Give him a pet for me. Hey, maybe there is a treasure hidden in the wall that only he knows with his special cat mind! Maybe your cat is the previous owner? Or the owner from before? Ooooooo, freaky!

Yes, this is so true about their claws. We trim them like you would a dog, but they grow long again fast!
