It’s a very common martial strategy among the Field Martials to always hold the high ground. In times of peace, the royal felines of yesteryear could look out over the lands and see that the human peasants were working diligently in the potato fields. It meant there would be plenty of vodka for the winter. Naturally, Max holds this time honored strategy in high regard. Plus, that is an awesome looking chair. One can’t feel small and unimportant in such a beautifully ornate and carefully crafted work of art.
