Oh good grief! We were visiting our daughter’s house to check on the dog and cats and the nimbleness of her cats always catches me off guard. They can literally be anywhere they want, can’t they? 😜❤️😜
So true! I always worry we’re going to “lose” one in the house when we stop by our daughter’s house to feed/water the cats…they still think we’re intruders and find the most creative places to hide! 😜❤️😜
I get that. They can vanish into the smallest spaces when they’re not sure about you. Binx does the same thing, except he goes up instead of hiding. Cats really do have the whole house mapped out.🌺🌺😸
There’s an Animal Planet show called “My Cat From Hell.” A cat-whisperer helps people with out-of-control cats. It’s fun and eye-opening. I’ve had quite a few cats over the years, but never realized how much they crave high places in order to feel safe and in-control of thier environment.
I’ve enjoyed that show, too. Binxie has been getting up there since he was a kitten, and we are planning on installing a really high (we have super high ceilings) cat shelf system. I think that will make him happy.
Thank you for the reminder about “My Cat from Hell.” I haven’t seen it in a long time, but I do like it.
Is that a photo or is the image of him on the curtain rod the AI generated one? Not sure if you meant that or the cartoonized one.
Anyway that’s some impressive height if he really gets up there. Your curtains must be heavy or full of claw rips.
Thankfully that’s not one of Bud’s quirks. He’ll run around gleefully slapping every object on a flat surface onto the floor, but he’s chill about fabrics thankfully!
It’s a real photo of Binxie on top of the curtain rods. He sleeps up there on his back, sometimes! lol The curtains survive it somehow, though I’m sure he’s left a few “souvenirs.” They are a heavy velvet.
The AI bit was just the featured image credit, not a curtain‑rod version.
Bud’s commitment to clearing every surface is impressive. He takes his job seriously.

Thank you so much!

Right? They surprise me every time. Binx thinks every high spot in the house belongs to him. Cats really can be anywhere they decide to be.😹🐈⬛🐾

Absolutely, yes. Including tucking themselves into ceiling tiles in the basement! That’s where we “lost” one of Delaney’s cats recently. Oof! 😜
My sister’s cat does that too. They find the strangest places to disappear into. Ceiling tiles are a whole new level. 😸😹
Indeed! Cats are amazing! 😉❤️😉
They sure are! 😸🩷🐾🌺
Lol 😆 🤣
Thank you, Jesse. 😅😂

Aw, now you’ve got to get a shot of him enjoying a proper snooze up there!
Yes, I agree with you on that. I’ve been trying, believe me. 😂🐈⬛
Adorable. Cats are most wonderful family members.
