Today felt like one of those Holly days where life comes right up to the door. PT stopped in, then the nurse, then the social worker. A full house without ever filling the room. Later the neighbors admired my flowers, which added a little brightness to the afternoon. It was a lot, yet gentle at the same time, and I’m ending the day with a quiet that feels earned.

Some days it’s like that around here too, one right after the other. I’m glad they do come though. I like your house and porch. Yellow houses are so pretty and they get my attention every time I see one. 🙂
Lovely, welcoming front porch. Looks a bit like mine in size – I’ve always wanted one of those “all around the house” type porches though….more room for comfy chairs and pots of flowers. HOWEVER, I do enjoy my “mini-porch” !! Iced tea and a breeze and it’s purrrrfect!
Thank you so much. I have another porch on the front of the house that is bigger. That’s where we sit out and enjoy our tea/coffee. 🙂 We also have a sun porch on the back of the house that the cats love.
