For Esther’s Writing Prompts challenge, using the prompt word “rich.”
The prompt word is rich, which makes me smile because that’s The Mister’s name. You can’t out‑kind Rich. He’s the best. Not rich in money, but rich in the way he shows up, listens, steadies, softens the edges of a day. If richness is measured in goodness, then he’s the wealthiest man I’ve ever known.
