Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #69:
- If you could be a fly on the wall at any event in history, what would it be?
- If you had a personal robot, what task would you make it do?
- What’s the worst excuse you’ve ever given to leave a party early?
Here are my answers:
- The capture of John Wilkes Booth
- Clean the kitchen
- I said my mom called me home.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Thank you so much, Rojie. Can’t wait to read your answers!
I don’t know if my comment went through so I’ll leave it here too:
I do the same thing when I eat out.
Cheese and pasta get me every time. The spaghetti dish sounds interesting.
I would love to go there someday.
Thank you so much for playing! 🌸🩷

Great answers, Alice! Thank you so much for playing!
I have been remiss, Kymber, and haven’t been by since your return. I’m thrilled to see you back and in good health, I hope. <3 <3 <3
Here are my answers:
1) This is a hard one because so many historical events are tragic. I’ll go with … the day Frodo threw the rings of power into Mordor. Or, the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.
2) Housework in general! All of it.
3) I was dying. Lol. Yes, I said that to get out of a relationship when I was a young teen. Lol
Hi there! It’s so good to see you, Diana. I’m in good health!
I think it would be terrific to see either event.
Yes, same here!
LOLOLOL Good one!
Thank you so much for playing! I’m so glad you stopped by.
Hmm . . . these are tricky. Let’s see what I can come up with.
1) I started to say the moon landing, but there’s no air, there, so the fly would die. OH!!! The resurrection of Christ!
2) Definitely clean the house. And change the bed sheets. That’s probably my least favorite thing to di in the whole house. It could also climb up in the attic and change the air filter every three months. But not the cooking. I like cooking. And I don’t mind laundry that much.
3) This is the hardest one. Probably that my significant other wasn’t feeling well . . . something like that. It probably wouldn’t be nice to say, “I didn’t want to come.”
LOL Nope, no air. But that is a wonderful answer!
Sounds like you and your robot would have it all worked out.
LOLOL You are probably right about that. haha
Thank you so much for playing, Jeff. I loved your answers!
🥰🥰💜💜

All good answers to these, and that is always a good excuse – mom or dad said so!

Thank you, Ernie!
Fun answers, Kymber. 1. The Battle of Blood River in South Africa, 2. Clean the oven 3. I always used my sons as an excuse to leave early. Now I just leave early 💕
Hi, Robbie! Those are great answers! I think it’s great that now you just leave. As I get older, I realize excuses aren’t really needed.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Have a great weekend, Kymber. It’s so nice to have you back 🙏💛
You have a great weekend, too. And, thank you so much. 🩷🐈🐈⬛🌺
Love your answers Kymber! mine are on the way.
Thank you, bro! Can’t wait to see!
Hi Kymber, happy Friday!
Be in the boat with Jesus and the apostles when he commanded the wind and waves to cease.
A device that would boomerang on phishing attackers and other internet scams… totally screw up their system, expose their name and address, and contact law enforcement
One of my kids’ hamsters died and I had to go support her
Hi, Darryl! Happy Friday to you too!
Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on websites
Thank you!
Here’s mine Kymber.

Hope you are doing OK.
Thank you, Di! I’m doing well, thank you. I hope you are as well.

Love the answers…. Here are mine …
1) I would Love to have been there when the Cubs won the World Series back in 2016
1) The day The Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show
2) My robot would be a doctor so it could heal anything instantly.
3) I have to leave, I have a long drive home and I have to work tomorrow.
I like both answers to number 1.
A healing robot! How nice!
That could very well be the truth. 😊
Thank you so much for playing.
If you could be a fly on the wall at any event in history, what would it be? – I think I would like to be in the room when the first electric bulb was lit.
If you had a personal robot, what task would you make it do? – This is easy. It would have to plan and cook three meals a day for a year with no duplicates unless requested.
What’s the worst excuse you’ve ever given to leave a party early? – The babysitter called and doesn’t feel well.
That would be something else to see that bulb light up.
Now, that’s a great idea for the robot.
Great excuse!
Thanks for playing, John!
John Wilkes Booth is a good one.
Thank you, Melissa.

Thanks, Melissa!
Ha! Fun questions.
1 Not too far in time. I wish I could have been there when the Berlin Wall fell. Sadly, I was still in Cuba and didn’t find out until a week later, and that was underground.
2 The robot would clean the house.
3 Sorry, I think I left the stove on. Have to go! 😊
Thank you, my friend!
It would have been so exciting to have been there when the wall fell.
Miiiiine, too!
LOLOL Now that is a good’un!
Thank you so much for playing. I loved your answers.
Always ready to play the game Kymber.
1) I would like to have been a fly on the wall when Canadian Confederation was being discussed.
2) My robot would shovel snow.
3) I said I had an early appointment in the morning. Yeah I did, it was called sleep.
Happy Thursday Kymber. Allan
That’s great, Allan! Thank you!
That would have been exciting, I’m sure!
That’s a great idea! I think mine will have to do that, too, after the dishes.
LOLOLOL That’s funny!
Happy Thursday, Allan!
My favorite game, Kymber. Let’s see how this goes.
If you could be a fly on the wall at any event in history, what would it be? I would like to be in the cave with the Apostle John on Patmos when he had his vision we now know as Revelations. Afterward, we could compare notes and I’d finally understand the rich mythical symbology John wrote.
If you had a personal robot, what task would you make it do? Without hesitation, I’d have my personal robot go to the bathroom for me at 3:00 am so I could stay in bed and finish my dreams.
What’s the worst excuse you’ve ever given to leave a party early? My secret is to get the host to usher me out of the house as quickly as possible. I tell him or her, the deviled eggs and baked beans have violated my rule of no farting at parties. (It’s a total lie. I don’t have such a rule)
I’m so glad this is your favorite game. 😀 I really enjoy reading the answers.
Yesssss, that is a good one, Dan! I would like that, too.
Hahahahaha Now that might work! 😀
Bwaaahaaaahaaaa! You are so funny! I love it!
Thank you so much for playing. Your answers are great! Happy Thursday!
Thank you Kymber! I learned how to give unfiltered answers to questions from my grandfather. He was a real hoot when he was honest. 😂
I understand that. My mom is like that. LOLOL
Children and the elderly say the darnedest things 😂
I know that’s right! LOL
I can’t wait to cross that threshold and let loose with my lifelong observations of humanity’s strangest habits. 🫢😁
Lololol! I want to see that! 😂
That could be an interesting Blog Theme. 🤔
LOL!
HI, Kymber!!
Happy Holidays to you!
I will catch up with you soon!
Here are my 3 answers:
I would like to have been a fly on the wall of the first Lunar Landing!
I would like ti to Do The LAUNDRY! LOL
My worst excuse to leave a party was “I feel sick”. When I just want to leave.
Blessings to you <3
CJ
Hi there! It is great to see you! I’m so glad you stopped by.
Happy Holidays, and Happy Thursday, too.
Oh, yes, the first lunar landing! That would have been something else!
That’s a good one!
That’s a great excuse. 😀
Blessings to you, too, CJ. Thank you for playing!
Great questions and answers. Here are mine:
I’d like to see a Shakespeare play in his time
Definitely to wipe all the floors
I said the cat’s not been well so I need to check on her
Thanks, Kymber!
Thank you, Esther.
I would love that, too! Great answer!
Yes, I would add that to my list, too.
Great excuse!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Thursday!
If you could be a fly on the wall at any event in history, what would it be? The Building the Great Pyramid of Giza.
If you had a personal robot, what task would you make it do? Keep my entire home spotless.
What’s the worst excuse you’ve ever given to leave a party early? I just walk out and go elsewhere. I’ve done it more than once. No excuses I just disappear.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. ♥
Oooooh, that is a good one! I’d love to see it being built, too!
Yes, why stop at the kitchen? LOL 😀
That’s probably the best way to do it.
Thank you so much for playing, Sandee! I hope you have a fabulous day and week, too! Love and hugs.
