    2 A table with books
3 My laptop (attached to the big screen)
    4 A pen
5 Right now, my dog, Miss Fluff, looking through the window

  2. It was fun reading your answers, Kymber, and I’m with you about the carrot cake! Here are my 5 things to the right:
    1. my green water bottle
    2. the floral vase that my daughter painted for me with flowers in it
    3. my custom family photo mouse pad
    4. my dying printer 🙂
    5. my mini mouse lego figurine that my son gave me for my desk 🙂

    And now:

    Daffodils or Daisies – Daisies
    Picnic or BBQ – Both
Sun dress or Dungarees – Sundress

Sunshine or rain – Both. I love the rain, but after too much, I’m ready for the sun.

    This was fun! xo

    • I love your items so much, Lauren. 🙂 I bet you cherish them. xo

Wow! You’ve had parrots and cockatiels! My daughter has a Quaker Parrot and he is a riot! lol

I love your answers! Thank you so much for playing. xo

      • Thanks, Kymber, I’m glad! My sister used to have 5 huge parrots, but now she has 2 because the others have passed. One is an African Gray that mimics everyone and he is hilarious. Sadly, I think his days are numbered, but he’s around 20 years old. They’re entertaining, for sure! And you’re so welcome! These are fun to play! xo

        • African Grays are sooo incredibly smart. Well, I think all birds are. An African Gray once bit me, then cocked his head at me and announced, “I’m a bird!” LOL I thought it was hilarious (he didn’t bite hard).

          • They are, and that is hilarious, but their beaks are big so it’s good he didn’t bite hard. Yikes! Can you imagine 5 huge parrots? My sister has always had dogs, cats, fish (lots), and birds! My only complaint is trying to talk to her on the phone when they’re performing their high pitched squawks in the background. 🙂

            • I can’t imagine having 5! LOL One is enough for my daughter. She’s had Shamrock since she was 8 years old. Over the years while she was growing up, we were running a zoo for her. LOLOLOL She had the Quaker Parrot, cats (that she rescued and bottle fed even at a young age), a dog, two chinchillas (Marlo and Chilli), and many others. LOL 😀

    • Oh, you know what? My linkbacks haven’t been working, so I wonder if it was that. It’s been really annoying because I have all my settings to allow pingbacks, but nothing has fixed this issue.

    • Happy Thursday, Hod! I’m so glad you played my game. 🙂 Our rainy day was yesterday. It got so dark, it looked like nighttime and it thunder stormed hard. But I liked it. I hope you have a great day!

  3. Sunshine usually, but until our drought is over, rain
    Lemonade
Gardening and hiking, just not at the same time.
    Cherries
    Polka dots
    Bunnies
    Bothe
    Neither, I prefer dark chocolate
    Neither
Carrot cake with cream cheese icing
Yellow and green, at the same time

    Happy Thursday Kymber. Allan

    • Yes to the cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake! That is the only way to serve it, imo! And I think yellow and green at the same time is a good answer, too!

Thank you so much for playing! Happy Thursday, Allan!

  4. Okay, here are my five things …
    1. Lots of wire stacked shelves
    2. A LOT of books!
    3. An old Paddington bear.
    4. A fake, pretty flower inside a large glass lightbulb ornament.
    5. A wooden, hand carved kangaroo from Australia.

This is me sitting in my recliner trying to recover from over doing it, lols! 💕🙂

  5. Your Wizard of Oz cuckoo clock sounds fun 🙂 I’ll play along with naming 5 things to my right:

A window showing my neighbor’s house and a tall tree reaching above it.
    Stuff on the windowsill:
A Chewbacca action figure (a Christmas present from my family)
An origami flower made from a comic book page (it came from an estate sale)
    A little fabric elephant
    A little cat statue

    • My cuckoo clock drives the cat nuts because she hears Toto barking. LOL 😀

The scene from your window sounds nice. I love living surrounded by mature trees.

I absolutely love your windowsill items! That origami flower sounds really interesting!

  6. What a fun cuckoo clock you have! 😀 Five things to my right (I’m sitting on the living room couch): end table, glass bowl with potpourri, floor lamp, armchair, throw pillows

It looks like some of the “This or That” questions are pertaining to Easter. Although that’s over for this year, I might write a post. A sun porch would be lovely for stormy weather. We have a small front porch, but it’s not closed in.

    • Thank you so much, Debbie! I love that cuckoo clock. lol Your “to the right” sounds lovely. 🙂

Oh, yes, I reckon they do pertain to Easter. I was thinking Spring, but you are right, especially on the choco bunny one. lol We use that porch a lot but it’s mostly a catio and eat your lunch kind of thing. 😀

  7. Five things to my right. I’m currently standing at the breakfast nook table using it at a desk. Everything is on the screened in porch.
    1. Immediately to my right is the door leading to the screened porch.
    2. Bond’s ping pong ball he likes to play with.
    3. Bond’s “perch” where he likes to survey his backyard kingdom.
    4. Chairs.
    5. Table.
    Not very exciting.

    • Hi, Teri!

Well, it sounds like it’s exciting for Bond, so I rule this as exciting! LOL

Josie-Pye really enjoys our screened in porch, too. Except today it’s been storming. 😀

  8. As for me, for the first one, five objects to the right

Rollo sleeping on the bed. He is our little rambunctious mini-Australian Shepherd.
    Well the bed
    My French book.
    Another book, braiding sweet grass
Another book, The broken and the Foolish

  9. Fun reading your answers to these. I like that you have a Wizard of Oz clock & Toto barks the hour! 🙂
I’ll answer the first part of 5 things to the right …
My Kindle which needs the battery charged up
My regular glasses – I wear my computer glasses when typing
The pole lamp with broken shades – but still works
The printer on top of a small file cabinet – printer doesn’t work any more
    Stack of coloring books
    🙂 Happy Wednesday!

    • LOL “The Wizard of Oz” is my favorite movie of all time, and I am obsessed with Judy Garland; I have been since the age of 2. LOL My older sister read the books to me when I was 5 years old and they are well worn favorites, too. 😀 Anyway, all that to say the kids got the cuckoo clock for me for Christmas one year. 😀

I seriously need some computer glasses. One of my sisters has them and she likes them a lot.

YAY for coloring books! Woot woot!

Happy Wednesday to you, too, and thank you for stopping by! xo

  10. Another fun game to play! Looking to my right, I see these five things 1. My printer 2. A book award 3. A photo of me and my girls 4. An inspirational saying 5. A positive affirmation.

  11. Five things: my water, my new ball cap from the rvshow, my soduko book I haven’t gotten serious about yet, my sunglasses, and a stress ball I use for hand strength.

  12. Oh wow KymberNoodle, this is quite clever ladybug! Now this is one of those “Things that make you go hmmmmm” posts. 🤔 Oh what barrels of fun! Gives me a lot to think about ChickieDee! 😜💖🤗 May the rest of your day be as FANtabulous as you are my dear! 🌞✨😘

  13. Haven’t done one of these in a LONG time! Five things on my right: printer, desk calendar, glass of cranberry/peach juice, mouse (computer not Mickey!), small bag of York Peppermint Patties.
    This or That:
    Daffodils or Daisies: Daisies
    Picnic or BBQ: Picnic
    Sundress or Jeans: Jeans
    Birds or butterflies: both
    Sunshine or Rain: both
    Lemonade or Iced Tea: Lemonade
    Gardening or Hiking: gardening
    Strawberries or Cherries: Strawberries
    Florals or Polka Dots: Florals
    Bunnies or Chicks: Bunnies
Pastels or Neutrals: Pastels in Summer; Neutrals in Fall/Winter
Milk chocolate bunnies or Easter eggs: milk chocolate bunnies
Rack of lamb or Glazed ham: Glazed ham
Lemon drizzle cake or carrot cake: Lemon drizzle
    Yellow or Green: Green

That was fun! Teddy and I say hello……….
    Pam

  14. 5 things I see to my right:
    1. a stack of table games – Racko – Yahtzee – Scrabble (2 sets – 1 goes back to when my parents wed in 1954 – and anytime a player uses all 7 letters, they get to write on the margins of the board their name, the word they created, and the points … fun to check out and reminisce all these years later!), Monopoly, The Game of Life, a big box of “365 games”!
    2. a tablet which I mostly use to play online games like solitaire and scrabble
    3. the 2 boxes that hubby’s video game systems came in (just in case he ever needs to pack them up … yeah, right, like that’ll ever happen, LOL!)
    4. my point-and-shoot camera (to take snapshots of folks playing games, 🙂 )
    5. a container of various snacks to eat while playing games…
Now, the only thing I need are people to come by and play games!

  15. Daffodils or Daisies? I would say, if I had to choose, daffodils because they are such a unique shape.

Picnic or BBQ? I love a good picnic. We used to have one nearly every week of summer when I was a kid. Mom would make up a picnic lunch and we’d meet Dad for lunch in a park near wherever he was working.

Sun dress or Dungarees? Dungarees. You won’t catch me in anything resembling a dress.

Birds or butterflies? Both are beautiful, but I think I’d have to choose birds. Beyond all the colors and songs, I also love how amused our cats get watching them through the big picture window.

Sunshine or rain? I kinda love a good storm… the sound of thunder, the exciting flashes of light.

Lemonade or Iced tea? Lemonade… especially with strawberry or raspberry.

Gardening or Hiking? Hiking. We take hiking trips to the national and state parks every summer.

Strawberries or Cherries? Strawberries! I like both, but I find strawberries are great on their own and more versatile with other things.

Florals or Polka dots? Polka dots. I like bolder patterns.

Bunnies or Chicks? Bunnies because they remind me of cats. I like to watch them when they play on our lawn in the morning. There’s a massive warren in the corner of our lot and we have dozens of rabbits on our lawn every day.

Pastels or Neutrals? When I was younger, I would have said neutrals… I have come to have a much greater appreciation for soft pastel colors.

Milk choc bunnies or Easter eggs? Chocolate will always win.

Rack of lamb or Glazed ham? Neither. I mostly eat vegetarian.

Lemon drizzle cake or carrot cake? You have no idea how much I have been craving a carrot cake. I plan to make one, but I have been so busy prepping for a huge rummage sale that I am too exhausted to make one. Maybe I should just buy one?

Yellow or Green? I used to like yellow. Then we bought a house. The previous owner had painted every room yellow. Not a pretty yellow, but a weird mustardy yellow. Then she went over it with grey sponge paint. It looked like the yellow paint was fading. It was awful. It took several years for us to have the time and finances to finally cover up all the yellow. Someday I may recover, but for now green has found it’s place above yellow in color ranking.

    • Forgot the five things to my right!
      1. My goofy tuxedo cat stretched out on his back, snoring.
      2. My cat slippers that previously mentioned goofy cat is using as a pillow.
      3. The blanket I am knitting.
      4. The beautiful new orchid I bought for myself.
      5. A box of tissues, because my body decided we’re going to have allergies now.

      • Oh, boy, do I love your tuxedo cat, and I don’t even know him! Cats have that affect on me. LOL I love how he’s using your slippers for a pillow. Cats sure know how to get comfy!

What color is your blanket? It sounds lovely!

        Orchids are so pretty!

I hope your allergies disappear soon!

        • I know what you mean about cats. We have three ourselves.

Pandora and Selune are our elder ladies and reign as Queen and Princess of their domain. Pandora just turned 17 and is feisty yet desperately cuddly. She likes to squawk her opinions often. You can occasionally hear her in my videos. Selune is 16 and the sweetest, gentlest cat I have ever met. She still has a kitten-like face and personality. Both of them are Siberians and both act like they know that they cost us a fortune and they won’t let us forget it. They’ve reached the lazy stage of their lives and are content to watch the world go by… so long as they get their daily petting and treat allotment.

Odin, the tuxedo mentioned above, is our youngest at about 8 or 9. We adopted him just a few months prior to the pandemic and (though our other two cats may disagree) he has been a great addition to this silly little family of ours. He’s blind in one eye, missing most of his teeth because they were all broken when he was brought into the shelter and had to be removed, chronically struggling with his weight because he must eat whatever he sees (he’s getting better as he realizes the food is always going to be there), has a bit of a limp which the vet thinks is from an old leg injury, thinks hair ties are the greatest toy ever invented despite the fact he has a hundred other real cat toys, and is certain that our bed is exclusively his though he will occasionally allow us to use it.

The blanket I’m knitting is a self-striping yarn in shades of pinkish-brown, soft blue, and grey. I’m doing a chevron pattern.

          • Pandora and Selune sound like sweet souls. 🙂 I like how they have their hierarchy figured out. LOL

Odin sounds like quite the sweetie, too. I’m so glad you found each other as I’m sure your home is a comfort and relief for him. 🩷

I love when they play with hair ties. LOL They find fun in the simplest of things.

I’m so glad Odin finds it within his will to deem you fit enough to share the bed with. LOLOLOL I love how cats just think they own everything.

I saw someone getting after their cat one day, and I said, “You may as well not bother.” She asked me why, and I said, “Because there is not a cat on this planet who thinks they’ve done anything wrong.” LOL

            Your blanket sounds lovely indeed.

    • Your picnics sound like they were heavenly. What a great mom! 🩷🌷🌺

I love a good storm, too!

Your lemonade sounds really good, too!

I know what you mean about carrot cake! There’s a place in the village that makes a good one, but I haven’t been there recently. Yes, I think you should buy one. You can eat it on the sly during the rummage sale. LOL

Those yellow walls really do sound awful. Blech!
