1. If I were to start a museum, it would be a museum of beautifully worn things: the kind you find while antiquing and instantly know they’ve had a life before you.
2. If I see my cat give me the you‑know‑what‑you‑did stare one more time I am going to lose my mind.
3. Thinking quicksand was going to be a daily threat is the strangest thing I believed as a child.
4. If my life had a mascot, it would be a cat who pretends not to care but absolutely does.

That I could fly is the strangest thing I believed as a child. Jumping off the barn roof in later youth disproved that theory.

A museum dedicated to local artists and writers, especially those striving to be discovered and whose talents have too often gone unnoticed. It would be a place where the world could finally see the beauty and creativity it has been missing._
If I see …. Someone out in public or at the market wearing an animal kigurumi…… one more time I am going to lose my mind.
That I would make it to 50 years old…. is the strangest thing I believed as a child.

The quicksand thing is hilarious. It’s true, Hollywood and TV absolutely loved quicksand for a few decades. More realistically, falling into a grain silo would be seriously bad, behaving more like the quicksand we know from movies.
