Two hands reaching out to each other, holding a globe amidst a colorful cosmic background with the text 'Share Your World'.

Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! This is a prompt by Di at Pensitivity and it looks like fun, so I’m going to give it a go!

You can join in the fun here: Share Your World!

───── ⋆⋅The Questions⋅⋆ ─────

1. Which tastes better: black or green olives?
2. What’s your favourite room in your home?
3. What fictional family would you be a member of?
4. What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

───── ⋆⋅My Answers⋅⋆ ─────

  1. I like black olives better, but I don’t eat them on their own. They have to be on something like pizza.
  2. My favourite room in my home is my library. It is where I write, read, and play with the kitties. It is the room that feels most like me because it is quiet, creative, and full of stories.
  3. I was going to say the Waltons, because I really did love all that mountain‑fresh wholesomeness. But then I remembered that, growing up, I also wanted to be Morticia Addams. That kooky family had my heart, and Morticia’s calm, elegant strangeness was exactly the kind of energy I wanted to grow into.
  4. Visiting Katy and the Littles gave me a moment to smile about. The house felt warm the second I stepped inside, and the Littles pulled me straight into whatever game they were in the middle of. Katy and I talked the way we always do, easy and familiar, while the kids drifted in and out with their little bursts of energy. It was simple and good.

Thank you, Di, for this great group of questions! This was fun!

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

What a delightful and wonderfully personal Share Your World post! 🌷 I can see why you enjoyed these questions—they invite not just answers, but little glimpses into the person behind the blog.

Your answer about black olives made me smile. The clarification that they have to be on something, like pizza feels wonderfully honest. Some foods are simply better as supporting actors! 🍕

Thank you, Vijay. I’m glad the questions landed that way for you. And yes, olives work best when they’re part of the cast instead of the star.✨😊

Oh fiddlesticks. I hadn’t thought of the Addams Family, or the Munsters.

You’re not alone. Once I remembered the Addamses, the Waltons didn’t stand a chance.

Really fun answers. So nice you can spend time with the littles. I like your Morticia answer! I liked her too, and also Lily of the Munsters! 🙂

Thank you. The littles always make the day better, and Morticia was such a fun choice. Lily was great too. She had that calm presence that held the whole Munsters house together.

Lovely share Kymber. Thanks for joining in. Kids can be such a tonic with their antics, chatter and energy! My first generation of nephews wore me out. I don’t see any of them now, only met my great great nephew twice (when he was 4 and 5, he’ll be 13 on Christmas Day this year) and his sister was born last October. I’m sure I have nephews and nieces two or more generations deep somewhere now!

Di, thank you. Kids really do bring a kind of energy that stays with you long after they’ve grown. Your nephews sound like they kept you on your toes, and it’s touching that you still hold those early years close. I hope you get another chance to see your great great nephew and his sister.

I love olives – black and green. My favorite room in the house is my bedroom. Fictional family? I would say the Dutton family only they are all too violent for me. So, maybe The Partridge Family because they sing. My many birthday celebrations made me smile big!

Jan, your answers made me smile. Olives of any kind, a quiet bedroom, a fictional family that sings instead of fights, and a birthday that filled you with joy. It all feels light and good, and I’m glad you had such a happy birthday. I loved reading about it.

I like both types of olives, so gooood!

My Living Room, so comfy and entertaining.

I am not sure but I do love my own family. ❤️

I appreciate each and every day and always thank God for each day. 🙏🏻

John, your answers feel warm and grounded. Olives, a comfortable living room, the love you carry for your family, and the gratitude you hold for each day all come together in a way that shows the quiet goodness in your world.🩷🌺
