I tried to review a section of Door 17 this morning and ended up fixing a sentence that did not need attention. I stared at it for a while and put it back the way it was. The book is fine. I am the problem.

I bet a lot of people have had the same issue. I spent three days on three paragraphs, gave up and moved on.
I bet they do, too. I hear you on the paragraphs and spending 3 days on them.
I feel your pain, Kymber! I try to edit as a I write, but I find it’s best to let ‘er rip and then touch things up later.
I find that best, too. Although I do sort of edit along as well. This is my final read-through before sending it to the editor. It’s slow-going, I’m finding. lol
