Well, the good news is, March is already half over! 👍 We had a mini-blizzard yesterday morning as well, but it cleared up fairly quickly. Still cold, though! 🥶
I run mountains pretty much every day. What I’ve learned is that depending on how i feel, sometimes I look forward to getting out there and sometimes I don’t but I can’t remember the last time I ran and was unsatisfied “afterwords!” Thanks for sharing!
While I miss some things about my (temporary) home in New Hampshire, snow – and tramping through knee-deep drifts whilst searching for Amazon orders that UPS often left by the roadside – isn’t one of them.
I lived in a rural – extremely so – community in New England. And apparently, UPS scheduled deliveries to Madison (NH) in the evening shift. The drivers would leave packages at the door if it was still light out when they arrived. But (as was often the case, especially in winter), the vans got there between 7 and 8 PM, and if it was snowing or raining, they’d leave the stuff by the side of the road.
Ugh… Seriously, when will it end? 😩❄️ Whoa… 50+ mph winds today, hitting up to 54 🌬️💨 They’re are also calling for a brutal winter storm over the next 3 days. Sunday and Monday we could see 6–10 inches of snow, and temps are dropping to single digits by Tuesday and Wednesday. 🥶😭 Curse you, Groundhog…
I agree with you. We must keep our spirits up if at all possible, regardless of the weather. We had a few warm, melty days here in MA, and now the weather is back to cool and crisp. Last night we had a little snow, too! But I have seen snowdrops blooming inn a few yards; so spring might be on her way…

We’ve had near-freezing temps for two mornings in a row. But it’s going to be in the nineties for the weekend. I am NOT okay with that!!!
