Happy timezones, Friends! I was inspired to put this post together when I read an article that mentioned Michigan is the worst (or “first,” as I put it) for potholes in the U.S.1
So, here is what I know about that:

😂 this is hilarious! I had no idea about the potholes there. I knew about the cold winters and I’m so glad I do NOT live in such a climate full-time. Oh, how miserable I’d be if I’d do that.

Those are good ones. They made me laugh. We have potholes here in Texas too, but we don’t have the frequent freeze-thaw cycles that you do, so it is not as bad.

So funny. We have potholes like you wouldn’t believe here in Lincolnshire. The solution is for a little man to come along in his truck, shovel two loads of tarmac into the hole, pat it on the head, drive over it a couple of times and then drive away. We had a pot hole outside our house when we lived in the cottage. The council came along and did the above repair, twice, then we got really excited when a bigger truck and TWO guys turned up, did the same thing in duplicate, then drove away. A month later, we had a small pond outside out property and the ducks were very happily swimming in it.
Awwww sweet little ducks. Naughty pothole. Sounds like you really know about this problem, too. 😀
Sounds like time to relocate, but stay away from Africa; Michigan will seem like heaven!
