58 Years!

On August 16th, my parents headed north on route 101 through Oregon and toward Washington. Mom and Dad decided to see if they could go back to work, and what better place than the Tillamook Creamery, driving a cheese truck? But as you can see, the driving test did not go well. The road should have had a guard rail.

Maybe they could go back to work as actors? Wait, they don’t do “Laurel & Hardy” films anymore! 😂

Here’s Dad and Mom now, married 58 years, and living their best lives!

Mom and Dad, 60 years ago, on June 9, 1963, which happened to be their very first date. 🤍🌺

My only regret is that I was not there in person to capture the Tillamook moment. 😂 The photo was taken by Kari, who is one of my sisters. 🤍🌺

  1. Oh my gosh Kymber, how beautiful and what a blessing! 🙏🏼 Now, you don’t find marriages that last that long these days…through the good, the bad and the crazy! Thanks for sharing these beautiful memories my friend! 🥰💖😍

  2. Congratulations to your parents! 58 years is no small feat! Because you and your sister are here I can tell that they raised a lovely family and I’m sure you must be proud of how far they’ve come since that picture of their first date all those years ago ❤️

  3. It is beautiful to see how fun they still have together after so many years! You missed the Tilamook moment but I bet you’ve been there to witness so many others…
