Our daughter Katy is doing well these days after the time she spent fighting cancer with chemo and radiation. Her hair has grown back, and she looks radiant!
Katy was pregnant with Lyra while she fought cancer. Lyra had to be delivered early in order for Katy to get the chemo that saved her life. I had the privilege of being there when she was born and it was one of the sweetest, most awe-inspiring moments of my life.
Lyra spent some time in the NICU, but she was pretty healthy right from the beginning.
Lyra is 2 1/2 and Lilly just turned 4 a few weeks ago.
Katy has been declared cancer free!
Only a few months ago, Katy gave birth to their new baby, Jody.
Our son-in-law, Brandon, is such a good husband and father. And Katy is a terrific mommy.
We love our daughter, son-in-law and our precious Littles so much!

I’m so glad everyone is doing well and that Brandon gets to be home with his family. It had to be so hard for Katy being pregnant and having cancer (you can’t get much more frightening than that), but having him being away while all that is going on had to be excruciating. It’s so wonderful that things have completely turned around and everyone is happy and healthy. The pictures are lovely. 😋😋
