They’re freaking terrible actually 😄
The local cities and towns did a horrendous job this time around. ice and ruts galore.
But then the mayor of one of the nearby cities has the gall to remind residences and businesses to keep sidewalks, parking lots, etc. clear. 🙄
He’s going on about how they ran into a salt shortage and all that, which, fine, I totally get it, because guess what, bro? We’re all dealing with that!
But, apparently it’s ok for them to leave everything a rutted, slippery mess, but don’t YOU do it! 😄
His main thing was “Don’t drive unless you have to.”
Ok, I’ll get right on that…🙄
Sheesh. Hypocrite much? lol People still have to get to work and go places, so they should plow better than that. I think our trucks use sand instead of salt.
They usually use a mix around here last I knew.
Maybe there is a sand shortage as well because they didn’t even drop that.
The road outside my driveway is a damned skating rink!

That’s what I was afraid of. I have another friend dealing with it all, too. That’s definitely a lot of gall that mayor has!

Oh boy. Hope you don’t have to be anywhere.
I actually just got back from the stores. I needed some stuff. Unsalted roads be damned! 😄
You gotta do what you gotta do, Kevin. 😀 Glad you are home. Stay safe.
Thankfully the wind has died down at least. Now, if the temps would just get above freezing and melt some of this lol
For sure. Until that happens, stay safe and warm, my friend.
Thanks, Kymber! You too!
Thank you!
