First for Potholes!

Happy timezones, Friends! I was inspired to put this post together when I read an article that mentioned Michigan is the worst (or “first,” as I put it) for potholes in the U.S.1

So, here is what I know about that:

And, because it’s Tuesday…

And because it was a funny poem:

I hope you enjoyed these memes. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need a break from my work to have a little laugh or to gain some inspiration.

May your day (or night) be filled with joy and plenty of breaks!

Oh! And, stay warm!

Thank you for liking, lurking, reading, and commenting!

  1. Welcome to the real world. Try Africa for size, only we don’t get snow to cover the pot holes 🙂 Beautiful pics – as usual, well done. Blessings, Peter-James.

  2. Oh, too funny. But it’s Ohio not Michigan grin so true. We have potholes you can turn into mini lakes in the summertime.

    • Ohio! Oh dear, can we still be friends? LOLOLOL 😂🤣 I’m just kidding, I love Ohio. I once lived in Cincinnati. 😀 And as for the potholes you have, you totally understand where I’m coming from. 🤍🌺❤️

  3. I don’t remember potholes specifically when I was in Detroit, but I’m sure they were there. I wasn’t driving so maybe oblivious listening to music or something.
But here’s a cute pothole story (if a pothole story could be “cute.”) When I was single, I worked in NYC and lived near mass transit so I got rid of my car and didn’t drive for nearly 12 years.
Then when I moved in with my husband (then boyfriend) I had to get a car. One day we met at an event and were in separate cars. When we both drove home and he followed me. He thought it was so funny that I knew where a pot hole was and I swerved around it. I was just so careful. I had a brand new PT Cruiser at the time and I was treating it like a baby.

  4. LOL. Those were so funny, Kymber. I found myself laughing out loud more than once! I hate potholes, so it’s fun to see the lighter side. The poem was a great way to end. Thanks for the fun!
