Hello, kind friends! I may have mentioned once, or a hundred times, that my mods folder went berserk. In recent years, I’ve been so careful with my mods, so I don’t know what happened. Well, actually, I think finding the old save of The Baldwins did it. That was a really old file from 2014, I think, and it was probably corrupted because back then, I didn’t know what I was doing at all and I added a bunch of CC (Custom Content) without knowing some of those files were bad. So, I reckon finding The Baldwins did cause the issue.
See? I just had to write this so I could figure it out. I could have just asked Bee and she would have told me right away. Why didn’t I do that? lol (I did tell her about my revelation later, and she said something like, “I could have told you that!” LOLOLOL)
Okay, so the Old Stone story has a brand new mods folder from scratch, some of the characters may do look some different.
And I lost the St. Claire save files where Erin was going to school. Which means all the characters I created to continue with the story that were living in St. Claire don’t currently exist. Grrr…
The characters lost are:
Donita Holt (Andrew’s mother; Tobin’s ex)
Karissa Craig (friend of Andy and Erin)
Jaron Green (friend of Andy and Erin)
The original core cast is okay, thank goodness!
So, Bee graciously offered to remake Karissa and Jaron, and they look so much better than before!
I am remaking Donita behind the scenes here.
And I’m recreating the save that uses St. Claire as the world. I love St. Claire. It’s got kind of a permanent Autumnesque feel. Is “Autumnesque” a word? IDK. At this point, I’m just hoping what I wrote in this post isn’t rambling. 😱😳😂
Well, after all that, if you lasted this long (I thank you), I will have a new chapter of Old Stone out soon.

Sounds more complicated than I thought! But very glad to hear you’re pressing on with Old Stone. As long as they’re still recognisable I don’t think it’s a big deal if the characters look a little different, especially if you think they look even better 🙂 Looking forward to the new chapter!
