She was wonderful. Except she barked at nothing. LOL! We would say, “A leaf must have fallen.” She was named after the old song that the “Royal Rooters” would sing in the stands at Boston Red Sox games. It was later revamped by The Dropkick Murphys, around 2004, when the Sox finally broke the Curse of the Bambino. 🤣🤣
Corgis are absolutely adorable…..had I had more of a “thing” for dogs than cats corgis would be on the top five list. I gravitated towards cats when I was on my own because my Dad did not like cats – we only had dogs as a family and I longed for a cat. Anyway, I love all animals (except perhaps snakes….eek).
Thank you, Pam. I get what you mean about wanting cats, but if you had a dog, the corgi would be top of the list. 🙂 I love all animals, too. Even snakes. :O LOL
We had a beloved — and very large — male corgi when I was a child and teenager. Among his many accomplishmentsm he took over raising a litter of kittens that a teenaged cat-mother abandoned. His name was Bryn, and he was a delight. Thanks for this reminder about how lovely corgis can be…
