Father and Son
Father and son
Work side by side
Learning new things
Father never to chide.
Father loves boats
Son loves them, too,
Father has taught him
And gives him a clue.
“This piece goes here,”
He says with such pride
Son glued it on crooked
Then began to cry.
Father is gentle
With his words and his eyes
Son is cherished
Because Father is wise.

Such a beautiful and heartfelt ode to a father! 💖
Thank you, Debbie. 🙂
The most valuable investment a father can make – teaching his children with love, understanding, and loads of patience.
That’s exactly right, Peter-James.
