My Novel!

Hello, Friends! The reason I’m writing today is that in 2013, I published my debut novel. I didn’t advertise it too much, but I say a huge thank you to all who have read it.

The book is called “Secrets in the Blood,” and it takes place in a little tourist town. It’s a romance/mystery.

When I was in middle school, I decided I would be an author and my pseudonym would be Unity Hayes. That was the plan.

But when I published SitB, I had a major brain lapse and put my actual name on it.

My book cover was designed by my friend and author Marie Landry and I loved it, but recently decided it was time for a cover reboot with my pseudonym! So, I paired with Marie again and she designed a really beautiful cover for me!

What I was wondering was if anyone would like to participate in a cover reveal? It would be a simple task where you reveal my new cover and the prologue of my story in a blog post, then a link to where the book can be purchased. Let me know using my Contact Form, and I’ll email everything to you prior to the big day.

Thank you so much! And if you have read my book, I would be so appreciative if you could leave a review. Please be kind as it is my first effort, and thank you so much. 🙂

Thank you all for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting!

  1. That’s a huge achievement! I love that you put your real name on by mistake, that’s just like something I’d do. I love the idea of the revamp and a reveal on your blog!!! xx

  2. I LOVED this book. I read it twice! Once a few years back and again this summer. I always like to read my favourite books over and over again. The setting of this book is so creative and I found myself wishing I could actually see the town. The characters as well! After reading this one, I can’t wait to see what you write next!

    • Thank you, Bee! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. And you read it twice! Wow! I’m blushing. 🙂

I have a picture of the town in my head, and in my notes for the book, I have drawn out a map for it. 😀

Hopefully, I can decide what to do next soon. 🙂
