Hello everyone. I’m sorry it has taken me so long to give you an update about Kymber’s health. In the past two weeks, she has gone through many tests, and had to be moved to a more specialized hospital for care. Tomorrow, she heads into surgery, to have her mitral valve replaced in her heart. I will tell you she is not stable. There have been several times we could have lost her in the past week alone. Her blood pressure is very low, her oxygen levels are also low and her body has filled with fluid.
While she has not out right said it, I know she is scared. But she has not lost hope. Her pastor has made the long trip to come see her several times, and she says he has provided her with great comfort.
Surgery is first thing in the morning. If you could think of her, send a prayer for her and her family, I personally would be very grateful. I have managed to read her many of your comments and knowing so many people are rooting for her, has really brightened her spirits. Thank you to everyone who has responded to my posts. I will be praying for her…..I also have mitral valve issues but thankfully have taken medication to keep it stable for years and years. Valve replacement is a better solution and I hope it does the trick for her! HUGS and PRAYERS………………. Pam

May the surgeon’s hands go where best needed, in the most efficient manner and the nurses and other staff do what is needed to make sure this surgery is a success. May all decisions made be the right choice for this precious daughter, loving wife and mother/grandmother. May the recovery period be comfortable and go as smoothly as possible. May she continue to radiate strength, peace and belief that all will go well. She is still needed here. She is very much loved on both sides, here and the after-life but here is where she is needed more. And thank you, Bee, for continuing to keep us updated regarding this. Amen. I told her today selfishly, that she was not allowed to die. She does indeed still have things she needs to do and people who need her desperately. I can’t imagine my life without her.
