Happy timezones, Friends!
Jody-Bear (“JoJo”) is getting so big! He’ll have his first birthday soon, and even though it’s sad to see him leaving the baby stage, it’s lovely how he’s changing and growing. His birthday theme is, “Mr. One-derful!” lol It’s going to be so sweet.
A few weekends ago, The Mister and I went on a road trip with the parents and one of my sisters to Indiana to visit family. My Aunt Rhonda took the photos of Mom and Dad. I think she captured some really nice moments.
Mom and Dad have been married 58 years! And my dad just had his 81st birthday in February.
The last picture in the collage is my mom with “Middle Little” Lyra on the couch in my library. That’s the room we open up when company is visiting. I also spend quiet time in that room as I find it very calming.
In other news, I made a new graphic for Cesare and Josie-Pye that I’m using at the bottom of my footer, if you wish to scroll below to see it. The Mister helped me with it because it was so hard for us to do. I hope it captures the fun, hilarious, and sweet, cuddly little boy he was.

You’re absolutely right about family is everything! We’re going through some hard times here, with my favorite aunt passing away from cancer without me being able to go back and see her as she was in Sweden. And now my husband’s father is also diagnosed with liver cancer and he has just a few months left…

The value of quality time with family can not be underestimated. We are looking forward to seeing our grandbaby soon. We had to book a trip out so we could see them before baby is walking.
