Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.

So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.

Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!

Round #82:

1. When you were a child, what was your favorite dinosaur

2. If you could set up a teleporter in your house, where would it go?

3. What scent would you turn into a candle if you could choose any?

Here are my answers:

  1. The Brontosaurus. I liked how peaceful they were, just walking around and eating leaves.
  2. There’s plenty of room in the foyer.
  3. Baking bread.

And that, my friends, is a touch of booomcha.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Pterodactyl – I liked to say the name, and I was so proud to spell it correctly at 7 years old.
Teleport – set up in my basement – go to where each of my grandchildren live

Wow, you could spell that at 7! Very good!

That’s a lovely answer.

Very nice!

Thank you so much for playing. Happy Monday!

Good afternoon, Bestie.
1. I don’t remember. I was a boy so probably something carnivorous pterodactyl? T Rex? I remember having plastic dinosaur toys like those plastic toy soldiers.
2. I don’t know where I’d put it but I know where I’d go. I’d visit my South Dakota bestie.
3. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Hello, Bestie!

Cool dinosaurs! That’s cool you had dino toys.

That would be fun, for sure!

Nice! That would smell so good!

Happy Friday! It’s good to see you!

Baking bread is a heavenly scent! 😃

1) Not a fan of dinosaurs as a kid, unless you count Dino from the Flintstones.

2) The teleporter would have to go into the backyard. Small house. I would program it to take me back to various places along the Mediterranean Seacoast.

3) This candle scent already exists: vanilla and brown sugar

Kymber @booomcha March 20, 2026 - 12:20 pm

I think so, too, Debbie. 😀

I do count Dino. lol

I think I’ll hop in your teleporter!

That smells so good!

Happy Friday!

I believe it was the Brontosaurus as well for me. I loved its peaceful nature and the fact that it was an herbivore.
It would go to Europe cause I surely never will.
Haven’t they made every scent possible, lol? Probably coffee or the ocean because they are lively and energizing. I can’t afford to have my house smelling like baked goods or I’d be as big as a barn! 😂🤣

Kymber @booomcha March 20, 2026 - 12:18 pm

I love that about the Brontosaurus, too.

I’m afraid I never will either. I like that answer.

I think they have. lol I know what you mean about being big as a barn if the house smelled like baked goods. haha

Happy Friday!

LOL to your answer to the second question.
Just wondering, do you have any idea why, when I try to subscribe to your blog in a feed reader (I use Feedbin), it will only show three posts, all from last year?

Reply
Kymber @booomcha March 20, 2026 - 12:14 pm

LOL Thank you. 😀

No, I haven’t any idea as I’ve never used a feed reader before. Thank you for coming by so you could see the latest posts.

Happy Friday!

I didn’t know much about dinos when I was a kid, but I learned a lot when my oldest son was younger and obsessed with them. I’d probably say the velociraptor because of their intelligence and speed.
With the boys moved out we have extra bedrooms! And I’d teleport to the beach every day.
Probably the beach. Are you sensing a theme here?

Reply
Kymber @booomcha March 20, 2026 - 12:13 pm

Great answer!

The beach! Me, too!

I am sensing a theme here. LOLOL

When you were a child, what was your favorite dinosaur? T-Rex was my favorite
If you could set up a teleporter in your house, where would it go? The primary bedroom has enough space.
What scent would you turn into a candle if you could choose any? I would do bubbling brown sugar.

Kymber @booomcha March 20, 2026 - 12:12 pm

What a brave child to have T-Rex as a favorite. I was too scared. lol

Cool!

That would smell so good!

Happy Friday!

These are my answers

(1) When you were a child, what was your favorite dinosaur –– I grew up before the dinosaurs. Well, seriously dinosaurs were not a thing in my family. I did not know they existed until I was older. However, my kids loved Dinosaurs and had favorites, such as the Giganatosaurus.

(2) If you could set up a teleporter in your house, where would it go? — In my son’s closet

(3) What scent would you turn into a candle if you could choose any? — Wild strawberry

LOL My kids say I grew up before the dinosaurs, too. Giganatosaurus – cool!

LOL I love that.

That would smell so good!

Happy timezones, dear friend!! Fun questions today!

I’m trying to remember, but I think it has always been triceratops. I was terrified of T-Rex when I was a kid.
Where would I put a teleporter? There’s not a lot of space in my house, so I would have to move something. I think I’m with you . . . it would have to go in the foyer, but I might have to move the coatrack or the old-fashioned record player we use as a table up there. It could possible go in the formal “living room” (which is not at all used as a living room), but that’s where the Christmas tree goes.
Well, almost every scent I like is already a candle, but let me think . . . either popcorn (my very favorite food) or the smell of someone cooking on their grill outside. Ooh. I just looked back at your answer. Yes, baking bread would definitely be a good one. Or donuts. LOL!!!

Have a wonderful day!! 💜💜💜

Happy timezones, Dear Friend! It’s great to see you!

I was terrified of T-Rex, too.

It’s hard to find a spot for such a thing.

You and The Mister both love your popcorn! lol Let’s have a candle for each of those! lol

You have a wonderful day, too! 💗🌺

1) Dinosaurs were not a thing when I was little. Strange, I know. Maybe, I was the dinosaur.
2) Provence, France
3) Warm cinnamon buns

Happy Thursday Kymber. Allan
