Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #64:
- What’s the weirdest food combination you secretly enjoy?
- What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve accidentally sent in a text or email?
- What’s your guilty pleasure movie that you could watch over and over again?
Here are my answers:
- Pringles and Breakstone Cottage Cheese.
- My mom texted me to ask what I’d gotten my son for Christmas, and I told her everything. Except I sent it to him by mistake.
- The Wizard of Oz.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
NOTE: I apologize for any questions that may be repeats. I’m not doing it on purpose. lol
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

[…] A few days late due to work commitments and general domestic banality, but it is time for Get to Know You, hosted by the lovely Kymber over at Boomcha.com. […]
Thank you! Can’t wait to read your answers!
Pringles and cottage cheese aren’t that strange, IMO. I like tortilla chips with plain Greek yogurt. 😃
Can’t think of any embarrassing texts or emails. I bet your son was surprised to get that one about his Christmas presents. 😆
There are lots of movies I’ve watched several times. The first one that came to mind that I should feel guilty about (because it’s so silly) is Wild Hogs.

I’m glad you don’t think it’s strange. lol
My son was a good sport, luckily. He was laughing that I had done that.
I saw that in the theater! LOL I thought it was funny. 😀
Thank you so much for playing. Happy weekend!
Cocoa, cayenne pepper, and stevia in my oatmeal at breakfast.
Years ago, I’d been late-night chatting on email with a friend on the West coast. We got a tornado watch, I wrote about how afraid I was, and actually sent it. She never acknowledged that she saw it, we got along fine, and all has been well. But I am still embarrassed when I recall it.
“Somewhere In Time;” Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymore.
I’ve never tried that, Ali, but it sounds like it works together.
OH my goodness! I love Somewhere in Time. And the score is so beautiful!
Oops! I meant to thank you for playing, Ali. Happy weekend!
And to you, too!
Excellent wow fantastic 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you, Alaa!🌸
You are welcome ❤️❤️

Hi Kymber, Great questions!
Here are my responses:
Jello with lots of condensed milk And sugar on top…lol!
Let’s just say that autocorrect has not been ‘helpful’ on occasion. And for the sake of modesty and your blog’s PG rating…I will leave it there…LOL.
Mission Impossible 5.
Have a good one. Cheers.
Hi, Suzette! Thank you!
Wow! That’s different. But the items do seem to go together.
LOLOL I see… 😀 😀
Great movie!
Thank you so much for playing! You have a good one, too. Cheers!
Thanks, Kymber. Bless you!

Thank you, Fandango!
If you’ve seen my daily food, Kymber, you’ll definitely feel it as weird.🤭
LOLOL That sounds exciting, Hazel. 😀
Visit me.🤩🤭 You’ll find exotic food on the table daily.🤭
I would love to! 😀
Engaging read
Thank you so much.
What’s the weirdest food combination you secretly enjoy? Cracker bread with Swedish Caviar dipped in Coca Cola.
What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve accidentally sent in a text or email? I’ve sent a private reply-all by mistake and it was to a lot of people.
What’s your guilty pleasure movie that you could watch over and over again? I like to watch Interstellar over and over.
Wow! That is some combo!
That can happen so easily.
I really like that movie, too.
Thank you so much for playing, Thomas. Happy Friday!
Hey Kymber. You have a world full of beautiful 😍 blogs
Hi there, Viona! You are so kind. I’m glad you like my site. I like yours, too!
You welcome ♥️

Can’t say i have any but ss a kid i liked to eat freeze pops with a glass of milk.
Not as embarrasing but i have responded endearingly “Love you too cuddle bunny” to the wrong person and and again. That happens when texting 2 people at once.
Blackula & The Last American Virgin
Kids have interesting tastes, for sure.
LOLOLOL How funny! I’m sure if I was texting more than one person at a time, I would do the exact same thing.
Those are great!
Thank you so much for playing, M. I really enjoyed your answers. Happy Thursday.
Happiest of thursdays to you as well
Thank you. 🙂
Pringles and cottage cheese, well I like pringles but not cottage cheese
I don’t guess you’ll be trying that combo anytime soon. LOL 😀
Here’s mine

Thank you!
Love your answers. I can’t think of any answers to the first two. The last question is pretty easy. The Shining. I’ve watched it over and over.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Hugs, my friend. ♥
Thank you, Sandee! The Shining is pretty scary! But I like it, too. lol
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week, too. Love and hugs to you. 🩷🌸
Hmm, strangest food combination: Peanut Butter and Cottage Cheese. 🙂 Don’t know if this counts as embarrassing, but definitely the funniest text I ever sent. I was at a music festival and a friend who was still in the camper and texted to ask about mosquitos. I texted back, “So fat, no problem yet.” We laughed about that for years. I meant to say So Far…..A movie I do watch over and over again, A Star is Born with Kristofferson and Streisand. And I cry every time he dies. 🙂
Now I had not thought to put those two together. Interesting!
LOLOL That’s funny!
Have you ever seen the Judy Garland version of ASIB? It is so good, too.
There a non musical version that predates Garlands
Yes, that’s true. 🙂
Yes. But since I got to actually meet Kris Kristofferson in person, I am partial to that version of the film. 😎
Oh my goodness! You met him in person! Well, I can see why this holds a place in your heart.
OH! I meant to thank you for playing, and to wish you a Happy Thursday!
Here are mine:
1. I think I must be boring because I like all kinds of food combos and they don’t seem weird to me. I’ll have to try Pringles and cottage cheese! Lol.
2. I blew my SIL’s surprise Birthday Party. I swear my brother didn’t tell me it was a surprise!
3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. For some reason I never tire of that one. 😀
Hi, Diana!
Thank you so much for playing! I hope you’re having a happy Thursday.
Cream cheese and jelly on graham crackers!
That’s an interesting choice. Reminds me of cheesecake in a way. 😀
Its been so long since I had it I don’t know if I still like it!
lol Okay 😀
funny but not about sending your son the text… bet that was a hoot!
We did laugh about it. hahaha 😀
Great questions, as always. Love your answers.
Thank you, Esther. 🙂
Hoo boy–sent the text to your son! That’s pretty funny.
We were able to laugh about it, so it turned out okay. lol
salsa cheese and peanut butter chunky
x coming up
by any means necessary!
Thank you, John. 😀
And Tucker and Dale Vs Evil! LOL!!!! Hilarious horror parody!
LOL Sounds like a funny one! I’ll check it out. 😀
Good morning, my friend!! 💜💜 Here are my answers:
1 – Popcorn and pizza. Actually, I eat popcorn with just about anything. I also eat it with chili.
2 – Mine also involves a text. I am very good friends with my pastor, and we were texting one day, and I sent her a text that said something about hopefully having time to chat on Sunday morning. Except I sent it to my wife, instead. Oops. She was like, “Okay, but what do we need to chat about?”
3 – This is tougher. I have quite a few movies that I would watch repeatedly, but I don’t consider any of them “guilty pleasures.” I guess I would say Ghostbusters (the original) or, in the horror genre, Jeepers Creepers. And there’s always The Princess Bride . . . but I never feel “guilty” watching that. Ooh!! Cabin in the Woods!! Almost forgot about that one.
Happy timezones, Jeff! 😀
Thank you so much for playing! I hope you’re having a happy day!
Have a great day, Kymber! 💜
Thank you! 🙂
