Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #61:
- If you could live a day as any type of animal, what would you choose and why?
- What word do you still have trouble remembering how to spell?
- If you had to do karaoke, what song would you choose, and would you sing alone or as a duet?
Here are my answers:
- A cat, for sure. I could sleep all day, get pets, and be pampered. 🙂
- Conscientious.
- I would sing a duet with The Mister. He has a terrific voice and we harmonize well. 😀

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
NOTE: I apologize for any questions that may be repeats. I’m not doing it on purpose. lol
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

What song would you sing? Strat Cats Strut? A show tune? Somewhere Over the Rainbow? Something else?
Somewhere Over the Rainbow, please! 😀
The Mister loves Stray Cat Strut.

Thank you, Melissa!
I can struggle with that word too! And you know I avoid writing vacuum because I can never remember if it has two “u’s” or one with an “n”. Dumb.
Cat was a given, but lets take it further. If not a cat then…..?
Yes! That horrible to spell word, vacuum gets me, too!
Oooooh, good question! Let’s see… maybe a horse. They run fast and are beautiful.
Thank you, KH,
Wishing a lovely weekend!
I wish for you a lovely weekend, too!
Hope you Sunday is going on well.
Namaste.
Thank you. Namaste.
This is such a fun post! While I’m sitting here waiting for the carpet cleaners to finish, I’ll join in:
I’d be a bird—flying around all day sounds amazing!
Definitely “necessary.” I always second-guess myself with those double letters.
Karaoke? Total duet vibes, probably “Don’t Stop Believin’”!
Thanks for the distraction while I wait! 🙂
Hi, Jeanie! I’m so glad you chipped in!
It sure does! I think if I weren’t a cat, I’d be a bird.
Yes! That word is a thorn in my side! lol
Journey! That’s awesome!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
I guess I am not shy in relying to Kymber’s Get to know you.😂🤣
1. Animal for a day?
A sloth—slow, steady, and an expert napper. I could live that dream forever.
2. The spelling curse?
“Bureaucracy” is a trap. I’d rather misspell it all day than try to remember it correctly.
3. Singing scenario?
If I had to sing, I’d rock “Bohemian Rhapsody”—with a healthy dose of chaos.
“Sometimes, you’ve got to sing badly, spell worse, and move like a sloth to remind the world that perfection is deeply overrated.” Prof. Philo
Now that is a great answer, the sloth!
You’re right, that word is definitely a trap! I feel ya’!
I would love to see the chaos you would bring to that song!
Your quote is brilliant!
Thank you so much for playing. Happy Friday!
Thankyou, KH
The sloth life is where it’s at—slow, steady, and full of naps! As for the chaos in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ just wait until I hit the high notes… which will probably sound like a trombone with a cold. 😂 Happy Sunday, indeed!
You know what? I think when the trombone section sounds like they have colds, is a terrific sound indeed! 😀 😀
Lol! 😃😂
1- Dachshund – My doxie (see…spelling 🤨) is an old (rescue) fellow.
2- Cat, definitely a cat that lives the life I give my cats.
3- Hahaha. I can’t envision any scenario in which I’d sing karaoke. However, to answer this question, I’d sing solo because I can sing on-key, but that’s not saying much. 😉 I’d dress up like Debbie Reynolds in the movie “How the West was Won”, and I’d sing “A Home in the Meadow”.

I love doxies. They are just the cutest!
Right on about being a pampered cat!
LOLOL Awww, c’mon, you can do it! I would LOVE to see that!!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Another fun list of questions, Kymber! My answers:
A songbird. I could fly around, and when resting on a tree branch, I’d sing. This answer is directly inspired by the bird that I heard a couple days ago while taking a walk. The bird was resting on a power line and singing its little heart out.
Occassionally. I type too many c’s and s’s and sometimes too many l’s too.
“Twist and Shout” by the Beatles. Because I have a bad singing voice, and I’d hope that the crowd would join with the singing 😊
That sounds like a wonderful experience. I think it would be lovely to be a songbird.
That’s a tricky one!
LOL Great song choice! I love that one and think it would really work out for you. 😀
Thank you so much for playing. Happy Friday!
Happy Holidays to you🌺
Thank you, Jean! I hope you’re having a lovely Friday.
PS. I have a little poem coming out today about Max and his dreaming. lol
Thank you Kymber. That’s great to know, I look forward to it😊I’ve been away really much from here during this spring. Now today I noticed that I cannot comment if I visit someone’s site especially the sites in U.S. First I thought people have got bored with me and my comments and blocked me👍but then I noticed I cannot comment at your site too, and I am pretty sure your 😸😸😸 do not want me being blocked because I always suggest to give them an extra portion cream👍So there must be a some kind of bug. I can see only ”leave a comment but without the box where to write” and clicking on that text doesn’t help at all. Maybe WordPress got bored with me😊
Dear Jean, I am having the same trouble with the comment boxes and have already sent a message to WordPress about it. I hope they get back to me soon.
I would never block your kind soul, so don’t ever worry about that. And you’re right that the kitties would never allow you to be blocked. 🙂 🐈⬛🌺🐈🐈⬛
I absolutely count on your kitties, I have had seven cats and found them trustworthy👍😊I love cats❤️ Well yes it is some temporary bug or something. Is your poem online already? ps. I know you are too kind to block anyone. The one who loves cats has a compassion too and ability to care about others too😊
I think they are marvelous souls.
Thank you so much. That is so kind of you to say.
My poem will go live at 10am EST. I don’t know what time that is for you. Here it is 8:41am.
Good to know, I absolutely read it, actually I asked you to write that kind of poem the other day and now it is coming, great👍If I cannot comment I write here something. Have you the summer there already? Here is and we didn’t have the winter at all this year, been really warm.
We’re still in Spring. Here, the temps are up and down. We had a really warm day and the next day, it snowed. We’ll get to summer eventually. 😀
Okay, that’s good. How was your winter? I decided to do all my mandatory works before the summer but I have done all of this already, on Sunday I am free for the rest of this year, Yay!! I was almost every day and night in the studio from the 1# Jan to this day. But I must still travel 😊 40 minutes and I can read your poem..hmm.. can you pretell a little about it?
First let me say, WP fixed the comment problem and my comment form is back.
The poem is about Max, who is dreaming.

Thank you! I’ll be there shortly! Can’t wait to see your answers.
I love your answers, but I’m sorry to say, I could not find the comment box. I saw the heading to leave a comment but no box. I tried replying to a comment that was there because I’m not sure you’ll see this. But again, no comment box was there. I’m really sorry about that as I thought your answers were great!
Thank you so much for playing. Happy Friday! 🙂
1 A cat, too. A fluffy and pampered one. Maine coon, if possible.
2 Apartment. I want to add an extra “p” for some strange reason.
3 Raffaella Carra’s Fiesta. Alone.
Hi there!
Yes, a Maine coon would be perfect!
I can see how you’d want to do that.
Oh! YAY! A solo! I love it!
Thank you for playing. Happy Friday!
I like your answer, being a cat sounds cool
Thank you, Joanne! I think it sounds cool, too.
[…] Get to Know You #61 […]
Thank you, Fedora! Be there soon’s I can!
[…] Get to Know You […]
Thank you, Sandman. Be there ASAP!
Hi Kymber. I’d be an African elephant. Majestic, intelligent, and beautiful. I’m a poor speller. I’d sing Our Father with Mom.
I adore elephants. I can picture that now!
Are you? I’d never know. 🙂
That’s lovely.
Thank you for playing, Robbie. Happy Thursday!
I use spell check. I learned to read at 4 using ITA. I became a great reader but my spelling never came right.
Wow! You were reading really young. That’s great! I understand about the spelling. I would not win any spelling bees. lol
Awwww, what a lovely Q & A KymberNoodle. 🥰💖🤗 Would love to sit on your porch with a cup of tea or an ice-cold lemonade! 🍋☕🍹
That would be so nice. C’mon over, chickie!
Oh what great conversations I can imagine us having! 😜💖🙏🏼
IKR? We could talk for weeks. lol 😀
You got that one right KymberNoodle! 🤣😜😂

Kymber, your porch feels like a sanctuary for the soul! I’d be a bird—soaring high, singing with the wind, tasting freedom. “Embarrassment” still trips me up! For karaoke, I’d belt out “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a group—because it’s epic and best sung loud and together. Thank you for this gentle, joyful space you’ve created. You are deeply appreciated! 💫❤️👏🌹
Thank you so much, Krishna. Your words are like music.
A bird is a great answer! It would be fun to fly.
That word trips me up, too!
Wow! That’s a great idea! You have to belt that one out, it’s true. So epic!
Thank you for playing. I’m glad you like it here. I appreciate you, too. Happy Thursday!
I want to fly above the earth, so I’d be a bird, but not one that is hunted!
Consciousness -spell check always corrects me.
I’d sing Something easy, like a John Denver song. By myself, because its always been my dream to be a singer.
It’s good to make that distinction. Great answer!
I get that one mixed up, too.
I love John Denver. I bet that would be lovely. That’s awesome you’d go solo!
Thank you so much for playing. Happy Thursday!
I somehow knew you’d say cat 😊 For me, maybe an alpaca, because they’re so cute. I always spell zucchini wrong, and I buy it almost every week, so you’d think I’d learn. I’d probably sing an ABBA song, with my best friend from high school. Happy Thursday, Maggie
LOL You know me well. 😀 Alpacas are cute, that’s so true. Zucchini is one of those words, I get it. I just say “zukes” instead of spelling it. haha ABBA! How fun would that be?
Happy Thursday, Maggie!

Thank you, Di! I’ll be over shortly. 😀
Loved your answers, Di!

Fun series. It’s hard to imagine you’ve done 61 of them!
I know. I think I might be repeating some questions. lol I’d have to go back and look, but it’s hard to come up with new ones.
1) A Golden Retriever so I could keep my hair. 😁😁
2) Cappuccino. Are there 2 Ps and 1 C or 1P and 2 C’s or…?
3) Someone with a louder voice than me to drown me out. I think I have a decent voice, but in public singing it goes to H as a soloist. I know I would never attempt the Last Train to Clarksville again.
Happy Thursday Kymber. Allan
LOL Good answer!
Oh, yeah, I hear you on cappuccino. I just spelled it wrong… twice. lol
LOL Awww…. it was probably fun, though, right? 😀
Happy Thursday, Allan. Thanks for playing!
Happy timezones, my friend!!!! 💜 Good questions!!
First – I’m tempted to go along with you and say cat, because I love them so much. But I’m also inclined to say that I would love to spend a day as a red panda. Ohmygosh, they are SOOOO adorable!!! And their reaction when they are surprised by something? Priceless!
Second – broccoli. Cinnamon. I always struggle with those words that have one set of double letters, and then a non-double letter. I can never remember which one is doubled and which one isn’t. And spell-check has made me lazy, you know?
Third – so, I’m pretty good at karaoke (which is, apparently, another word that I struggle to spell correctly, LOL), so there’s a long list of songs that I would love to sing. My go-to, though, is usually “Desperado,” by Eagles. I can wail on that one. (I’m being unusually immodest, here) If I have the right person, I would love to duet “Bring Me To Life,” by Evanescence, though. My oldest daughter and I made a recording of that at Six Flags, one time. I wish I knew where it wound up. I feel like I have it on a CD somewhere around here.
Happy timezones, Jeff! 😀
I like your answer of red panda. That sounds fun!
Yes! Those are hard to remember. I know all about spell check making us lazy, that’s for sure. LOL
LOL I love “Desperado!” That song is sooo good! That would be a fun CD to listen to! I hope you find it!
Happy Thursday!
