Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.

So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.

Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!

Round #58:

  1. Do you think you’d get along with a clone of yourself?

  2. What’s the quickest way someone can lose your trust?
  3. Do you often listen to your intuition?

Here are my answers:

  1. I get along with everyone. lol
  2. By lying to me.
  3. Oh, yes, I sure do.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Oh, my. I totally missed this one. And these are tough questions, this time.

1) being somewhat self-deprecating, I don’t think I would get along with myself. At least not all the time. But I would, at least, be very honest with myself and tell myself when I’m being stupid or unreasonable.

2) It really takes a lot to lose my trust, but I think the quickest way to do so would be to “throw me under the bus.” Or ghost me.

3) I do tend to listen to my “intuition.” But always hope that it’s really the Holy Spirit nudging me.

Hi, Jeff! I’m so glad you found it!

That sounds reasonable to me. Good answer.

Yes, those are definitely relationship killers.

Yes, that’s how I feel about it, too.

Happy weekend!

Kymber, here are my answers:

Yes, except I’d have to snap my fingers now and then…he’s been known to daydream 😂
It gets back to me that you’ve said something crummy behind my back.
Yes, I have a very strong gut instinct.

BTW… this has happened with other bloggers… but WP mysteriously unsubscribed me from you 🤔 Have resubscribed!

Hi, Darryl!

LOL That’s great. 😀

Yeah, that would be enough for me, too.

I’m glad your gut instinct is strong because it’s usually right in my experience.

No worries, this happens from time to time. I always hope no one thinks I did it. I don’t unsubscribe people. Crazy WP! 🙂 Glad you’re back!

The clone question is great food for thought! Kind of a scary thought. 🤣 Good questions, Kymber. 🥰

Very interesting questions!
1 I think I would get along quite well with my clone. We would probably be cackling and gossiping about everybody else.
2 I agree that lying being a key factor in this respect, but it depends…sometimes people lie so as not to hurt others’ feelings or to make things easier without harming anyone (I think my clone lies a bit too!). So a minor lie would not bother me too much. A big one, or slandering someone, yes.
3 I do, very often.

Reply
Kymber @booomcha April 4, 2025 - 9:55 am

Thank you so much!

That would be fun, for sure!

Your clone lies a bit, too. That was an awesome addition to the point you’re making! I see the difference, and can agree with you on that.

That’s great. I think it’s usually right.

Happy Caturday Kymber <3 … Purrfect answers and agree with you, except I might have mine doing chores right about now (hahaha)!! 😉

Happy Caturday, although I missed last week! lol

Now that seems like a good way to use a clone. You are the fun one, the other one takes care of chores and such. LOL

Silk Cords March 22, 2025 - 7:35 am

1) No, the other one is an ass. LOL.
Actually I suspect it’d be like the Mauler twins on Invincible. 😀

2) Abuse said trust in any serious way; lies manipulation, etc…

3) Always.

I have no idea, but I usually get along with everyone, just as a matter of course.
Tell others something I told in confidence, and/or lie to me.
I’m not sure I hear my intuition, or if I even have it, but sometimes I do or say something that was not my intent but that turns out to be the very thing it ought to have been, and I have no idea why. I don’t know if that’s the same thing, but maybe I do have intuition, and it just has to override my systems! lol

Reply
Kymber @booomcha April 4, 2025 - 10:04 am

That’s nice you get along with everyone. I’m sure a clone would be no problem for you then. 🙂

Yes, those are good examples.

It sounds like intuition to me. 🙂

I’d get along with a clone of myself because we’d both sit and read quietly and not interrupt each other.
I’m with you on the lying, Kymber.
I always listen to my intuition – it’s never steered me wrong.

I would probably get annoyed by my clone.
Lying would break my trust.
I listen to my intuition most of the time. When I don’t listen it’s big trouble!

Hmm. I see that most of us agree the quickest way to lose trust is through lying. And I agree. I think I could get along with myself. Heck, I already do. 🙂 And YES, I always try to listen to my intuition. It pays off! Fun, Kymber!

Yes, so true.
