- Curl up with a book in front of the fireplace.
- I care less and less what people think, and so, it rolls off my back better.
- Don’t be so hard on yourself.

1. Crack the window, pour a cup of coffee and settle fire up the computer for some writing.
2. My kids being grown while I’m still young enough feel like a kid.

Our rains mostly come in the form of thunderstorms that last 1-2 hours. I watch them and accomplish nothing.

We don’t get many rainy days here, so I like to go for a walk in the rain.
I’m retired. I like that my time is my own.
Spend as much time listening to the stories of your grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Record/write down those stories. They are priceless. Ask them questions about what it was like “in their day”.
That walk in the rain sounds lovely.

I would tell my younger self that there is no-one on their deathbed saying,”I wish I had worked more.”

Rainy days are good for staying in and reading a good book, and your # 2 answer is so true!
My answers would be
1. staying in doing the same thing I do every day – blogging, reading, working jigsaw puzzles
2. I can do whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it… or not.
3. probably good advice which I think I remembered is to keep my sense of humor in all situations. There’s always something to smile, or laugh about, even if at first it doesn’t seem that way.

Good morning to you, my friend! These are great questions! And I like your answers, as well. Mine would be,
1. Sit in a comfy chair, with a fleece blanket, and read (fireplace optional)
2. Where to start!!! I am retired, with a part time job as a library aide, and it is the BEST JOB I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I love my “job,” and I love, love, love the people I work with! I am also the happiest I have ever been in a church setting. I love my pastors and have become very close friends with one of them. My life is in a very good place, right now.
3. I would tell my younger self to love more and judge less, and don’t try to grow up so fast. I look back on my life and it makes me think of the Bob Dylan song, “My Back Pages,” in which the chorus says, “I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now.” That’s me, to a tee.
