Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts!

So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.

Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!

Round #45:

  1. Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car?
  2. If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
  3. List two pet peeves.

Here are my answers:

  1. Ride a horse.
  2. Cleaning.
  3. a. not being able to breathe through my nose
    b. line cutters

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

For me
Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? If I am going far I’ll take a car. If it is a leisure ride I go bicycling.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Yard work

List two pet peeves. (1) When my dog Rollo angrily barks at me and scratches my legs because I won’t give him early dinner. Sometimes he wants early dinner and he gets very stubborn. (2) Dog walkers who don’t pick up the poop (after their dogs). – see, my pet peeves are about pets.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:22 pm

That sounds good, Thomas. I think leisure drives are nice.

  1. Ah, Rollo knows what he wants. 😀
  2. Right! Same here. That’s so gross when they don’t clean up after their dogs.

Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!

I’ve wanted nothing more here lately than to ride my bike, now that I’ve had another nerve block injection, I shall be soon! However, I LOVE to drive. Hard decision.
Clean
People who put their dirty dishes on the ‘cleaN side.
People who won’t put things back where they go so they. An be found the next time! Ugh! 🤣

Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Ride a bike for sure.
If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Can I pick all three? No? Okay I’ll go with yard work.
List two pet peeves. 1. People who talk during exercise at the gym. 2. People who park in handicapped spaces with no placard.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:26 pm

Bikes are fun.

Yes, you can pick all three. I agree with you there. 😀

  1. Right on, John.
  2. Yes! This right here!

Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!

Great questions again, Kymber! And I was curious to read the answers to #3 of other commenters. My answers:
1. Ride a bike, especially if it’s in a park
2. Cleaning. Much of the time, I don’t mind cooking and yard work.
3. A huge pet peeve of mine is when another driver tailgates behind me. Another is when people interrupt frequently.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:28 pm

Thank you, Dave. I was curious about that one, too.

Bike riding in the park is so nice.
Good answer!
Tailgaters are terrible! Interrupters are, too!

Hi Kymber, here are my answers:

Q1: A car. I’m a petrolhead, what can I say 😊
Q2: Yard work. I could do it myself, but I’m not enjoying it ☹️
Q3: Bad customer service and snobbish people.

Have a marvellous day 🌞

Reply

Fun questions, and fun to read your answers, too.
I can’t do any of these now, but I’d pick a horse if I could.
I’d want all three for the next question, house cleaning, cooking, and yard work.
Your a and b answers really bug me too! Let’s see … robo calls, spam, and telemarketers calls & texts at all hours of the day would be one, and awful annoying TV ads that they play over and over all day.

Another fun set of questions, Kymber! 😃
1. Definitely a car. With a bike, you’re at the mercy of the weather, and my only experience riding a horse wasn’t a good one. Not something I would want to repeat! 😆
2. Could we not choose cleaning, cooking AND yard work? 😆 Of the three, yard work would be the first choice, because it’s so physically taxing.
3. People who don’t scoop their dogs’ poop, especially when it’s in the middle of the sidewalk. Also, those who put on airs and are totally phony.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:40 pm

Thank you, Debbie!
LOL So, a car it is. 😀
Yes, choose them all!
You are not alone in feeling dog parents should scoop the poop. lol Phony people stink. 😀

Fun questions! #1- Car. I love traveling and especially by car. #2 – Cleaning (my place could use a deep cleaning). #3 Biggest Pet Peeve – people who don’t pick up after their animals and – people who race around me to get in front then slow down. 🙂

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:47 pm

My place could use a deep cleaning, too. So, I understand. lol Yes, can people just scoop the poop, please? I hate that, too, when people speed around you only to slow down once they get in front. Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!

Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Drive a car.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Yard work.

List two pet peeves. Idiots and rude people.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. ♥

Reply
Esther Chilton December 12, 2024 - 11:44 am

Thanks for these, Kymber. Here are my answers:
1. I’m allergic to horses and I have balance issues and can’t ride a bike, so it’ll have to be drive a car!
2. Definitely yard work.
3. People who think they’re funny and really aren’t and people who have no respect or consideration for others.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:49 pm

Hi, Esther! Oh, those funny (not!) people! lol I agree with you wishing people had respect and consideration for others. Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!

Driving a car purely because of the fragmented nature of my social life network, plus greater freedom for choice of work.
Definitely cleaning.
a. People who have a distinct inability to grasp the nature that heterosexual men and women can just be friends.

b. People who move next to a pub/bar/club and then complain about noise and people.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:52 pm

Yes, that’s true. The further you can drive, the more opportunities you have.
Cleaning here, too!
a. That’s interesting, and true!
b. Good one!
Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!

Cleaning for me, too. All that bending makes my knees hurt just to think about!

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:53 pm

Oh, yes, I can see how that would be hard on the knees. I think I’ve changed my answer to wanting help with all three. LOLOL

Reply
Jeff December 12, 2024 - 10:18 am

Good morning! Here’s my stab at these questions:

I could easily see circumstances in which any of the three would be preferred. If it’s simply recreational, I think I would choose a bike (although I haven’t ridden one in quite some time). If I’m aiming to get somewhere, the car would be my preference.
Yard work, for sure. In fact, we already have a guy that does that for us. I do my own cooking, which I actually enjoy, but I wish I had someone to do handiwork around the house, like fixing fences and things like that.
Only two? LOL. Let’s see. Grammatical errors, especially the misuse of apostrophes (also includes using the wrong “you’re/your” and “there/their/they’re”). People who simply can’t bothered to be courteous, respectful, or kind, especially while driving.

Reply
Kymber Hawke December 17, 2024 - 3:55 pm

Your reasoning makes total sense.
That’s nice you enjoy cooking. I need someone to do handiwork here, too.
Yes to grammatical errors! I feel your pain! I also agree with you on people who aren’t courteous, respectful, or kind while driving.

Thank you for playing, and happy Tuesday!
