A Mysterious Photo!

Years after the last Willoughby died, and the cliff-side house fell to ruin, distant relatives found an old family album containing several photos many have never seen.

Local historians disagree on the identities of the couple in this photograph, however, most agree they are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hilliard who were servants of the Willoughbys at one time.

A historian at the Cobblestone Historical Society informs us of rumors surrounding Mrs. Hilliard and certain improprieties with Mr. Willoughby. Could she have secretly been the real mother of Phineas Willoughby?

Unless more evidence is discovered, we may never know.

Thank you to Bee (Stories by Bee / Poses by Bee) who made the poses. You can find them here.

And, thank you, kind readers, for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting.

Rumours have to start somewhere.. and an affair by a well-to-do husband with a servant leading to a child would have been looked down upon massively and hushed up, so it sounds like it might be the answer! Love seeing the old photo, such a good idea! xx

That’s an interesting start of a story. It’s cool how it possible to make sims characters look like an old ancient photograph.

Isn’t it interesting how history always comes back to haunt, or at least revisit us. Before we moved down here my wife was cleaning out an old trunk that her grandmother brought when she came from Italy around 1920, almost 100 yeaes earlier. Inside, she found love letters her grandfather wrote to her, all in Italian and sent back to her. First of all, the postage overseas was 3 c3nts! But more, these were some of the romantic words I had ever read. They’re both gone now but they came alive for a while.

Hiding a mother is a difficult deceit to pull off.
