In other news, I’ve created a page called SimLit I’m Reading. If you know I visit your blog and you’re not on this list, please contact me or leave a comment on this post because I’m trying to list you all. When you take a peek, you might see sites you didn’t know about. There are some excellent stories out there, so check out some new ones! At some point, I would like to list the non-SimLit blogs I’m reading. Those are amazing, too.

In theme news, you may or may not have noticed me changing the color palette a lot recently. I just can’t decide, folks. It’s a nightmare trying to decide. Any suggestions are soooo welcome. lol

On a more personal note, I thought I’d tell you how much this community means to me. I love the support and commitment everyone shows toward each other, and that is something special you don’t see in a lot of places.

  1. I think I’m good in terms of spam. That happens with my emails sometimes and it drives me bonkers.

    The SimLit page is really cool. Yes, there is totally lots of support here and it’s great that we can be supportive of each other. I will be making notes of blogs to visit because of this page, so thank you for posting it.

    • You are so welcome! I love your story, so of course, it’s there. 😀 I don’t see a problem with infrequent posting; it just means when there is a new post, I’m all the more excited for it. 😀

      Oh, there is something I have always wanted to ask, though, and I hope you don’t mind… but on your last story… who was Boyd’s father? Was he someone we knew about? lol When the gen started, she already had Boyd. LOL 😀 If you don’t want to answer, that’s okay, though, no worries. hahaha 😀

        I don’t mind at all! It was something I had eventually planned to address in the story, but I didn’t make it that far. I’m not sure if you remember, but in Generation 1 before Wyatt became the heir, she was sneaking off at night and getting frisky with an older college guy who she had lied about her age to. That guy (for the life of me I can’t remember his name now) was Boyd’s father. When she found out she was pregnant and told him the truth about her age, he split on her not wanting anything else to do with her or their baby. He was kind of a loser anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Patrick was always meant to become Boyd’s father. ❤️ Part of me really regrets deleting this story and not just taking a long hiatus instead, but it is what it is!

    I know pay wordpress got many of awesome layouts some I loved in the past as monster and some other cuteness they are not updated anymore.

      I’ve noticed that about some of the wordpress themes. The monster one is really cute, it’s too bad they don’t update it anymore.

      • aww yes it fit well my blog because Miss V is a witch , Sorbet isn’t updated at all even the birds. I am very frustrated because I like cute themes and they are not availible anymore.
        Of course I’ll tell you,for now I have got only my ts4 writings here.

        • That is a shame. If they aren’t going to update the older, cute themes, they need to create new ones that they’ll update.

          As for only having your TS4 writings here, I still think that is wonderful!

          • I hope so tumblr has millions of cute themes and none of them are wordpress compatible and a lot of wordpress themes are not suits for girly/kawaii/cute person as Ubuntu as well. I wish the headers and the themes creators will think of us. Mine is the prettiest I have found for free.

            and I am still working on Miss V but Lucky palm hates my pets. The errotrap always sees them as errors. So I don’t know what to do; LP is big and I have plenty of space for every of my sims and I can add mores families, SV is really small for all my people.

            • I followed your TS4 blog and look forward to when you tell me to put your link on my page. 😀

              I really like LP but I’ve had some strange things happen there, too. For instance, my sim was in a boat and I wanted her to go home. She literally parked the boat partway into the dock. Then, her daughter had to catch the school bus and instead of just going outside, down the driveway, a few steps down the street to the bus, she went outside, jumped into the water and swam around the dock. Then, she got out on the other side, went up the embankment and finally got on the bus. It was so weird.

            • haha yes LP tends to be very faulty I am not surprised you got such glitches lol but I love it for being so big. And yes you already follow all my stories because I store them here no more second blog now.

  6. Lurking in the spam folder. That’s usually where I seem to be hiding! Silly WordPress…
    Great idea about setting up the SimLit page, a fab way to introduce new sites & give a shout-out to the blogs you love.
    I get stuck all the time making small tweaks to my blog, never quite sure what I prefer or what would look best! I’m really liking your current layout and colour-scheme; smart, professional but approachable and with an intriguing edge. xx
