I like your answer and it fits well with how I handle things. I don’t hate anyone. I tend to just forget them and/or limit their time in my life. Which I guess answers question 2 as well.
An eagle.
When I am super tired or sick, dark brown. When I am well, hazel, but more brown than green. My dad has green eyes….wish he had passed that to me as my full eye colour.
1) I will always forgive and wish that I could forget, but that’s hard. Memory is sometimes a curse. However, I don’t tend to hold grudges, so that’s kind of like forgetting. I won’t be constantly bringing it up. “Hey, you remember when you did ________?” Nope.
2) I probably try to avoid them. Referencing the first question, they would be forgiven, but that doesn’t mean we have to be besties. But I probably wouldn’t cut them out of my life altogether.
3) Some kind of cat, or maybe a fox. Or a red panda! I LOVE red pandas!! I think I’d make a great red panda! That little thing they do when they are surprised is so adorable!
4) Green. Red hair, green eyes. Well, the hair used to be red. It used to be hair. LOL!
I forgive, don’t dwell on it, and try to never let it happen again. Which sometimes results in…
I carry on, but normally they are no longer part of my life.
Any bird that flies!
Brown.
I’m with you on number 2. I feel the same way. Some people keep engaging, hoping for change, but sometimes it’s better to cut them loose and focus your energy on healthy relationships.
My first two answers are the same, Kymber.
I was going to say a dolphin, but I’d like to come out of the water sometimes, so how about a turtle?
My eyes are a light and speckled brown.
Willie Nelson said it best: “Forgiving you is easy, but forgetting is going to take a long, long time.” 🙂 I treat everyone with kindness, but do not make an effort to be around someone who has intentionally hurt me. I’d be a lioness (My birth sign is Leo). My eyes are blue.
1) I might forgive but I will always remember, part of the learning process.
2) I carry on as usual but do not go out of my way to spend time with the person.
3) Not a game or food animal for sure. Likely a horse.
4) Depends on mood, day and time of day. They are hazel, but can also be green or blue.
Well done on these questions, Di, and to you, Khymber, for your honest heart. If I may add my bit; My philosophy has always been that forgiveness must be unconditional. Remembering the incident is always stored in my subconscious; I have no control over that. But I do have control over the thoughts in my mind when I either see the party concerned or something triggers the memory. In response, I will use an affirmation, for example, ‘This too will pass, and better things are coming.’ In time, the incident dilutes into oblivion. Whether to continue a damaged relationship is always a matter of wisdom. Does it benefit the other party, me, or both of us? If it does, continue the relationship; if not, discontinue, always viewing it through the lens of unconditional forgiveness and wisdom.

I like your answer, too, to number 1/2.
An eagle would be cool.
Your dad’s eyes sound so nice. But your eyes are very pretty!

Great answers, Ali! It’s hard to trust someone when they’ve hurt you.
