Navigating Life’s Challenges: Personal Update on Health

Happy timezones, friends! It’s so good to be here, speaking with you all.

As you may have guessed, Old Stone is not being published today but on February 7th instead. This could not be helped as in recent days, I’ve been having chest pain. Friday, January 23, I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and was admitted.

Luckily, I had posts already scheduled, so nothing at booomcha was interrupted. I was feeling better while in hospital, so was able to answer comments via phone.

The news? I’m unhappy to report that there is another leak in the valve I had replaced. I am happy that It’s not severe, so we are watching it for the moment. I have more appointments this month, and the past few days have been feeling better.

Please don’t worry about me. I am home again. Life is good, and so is God.

Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Hey there. I don’t know if it can repair itself. I have an appt on Feb 9th where I hope to ask a ton of questions. Hope he’s prepared for me. lol

Thank you for the prayers and I will keep you updated, for sure.

It’s hard because I want to be candid, but I also don’t want to worry anyone. Know what I mean? 🙂

So glad you’re home again – I’m sure you’re in good hands – healthcare is pretty darn good these days fortunately. I’ve been on medication for YEARS for a mitral valve prolapse which is NOTHING compared to valve replacement. Take care of yourself – rest – behave!! Sending hugs.

Pam (and Teddy too)

Reply
Kymber @booomcha January 31, 2026 - 9:12 am

Thank you, Pam and Teddy. 💗🌺

I hope your valve prolapse doesn’t bother you. You are right about healthcare being really good nowadays. I really like my cardiologist, too. I’m sure he’ll figure this out.

Telling me to behave is a good call. LOL It’s so hard, though. haha

Hugs xo
