Narrow, wet streets
Lonely, abandoned
Silence is unbearable
Closing in
Nothing to fear
And nothing to hope

Written in response to Kevin’s NTT:
Happy timezones, Friends, and welcome to another No Theme Thursday! It’s great to have you here! I hope you like the poem I put with Kevin’s picture.
It’s short, not so sweet, and not really a poem. I’m not sure what it is. lol
It’s not about me, but I reckon I’m in a mood. Sorry for the downer.
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Well done, Kymber! πΊ
Dark and hopeless. Well-written, Kymber!
Exceptional. Well done, Kymber.
Thank you so much, Stephanie. π
I don’t know about whom this poem is but it stopped me. Of course the loneliness but actually I started to ponder the 2 last lines. βNothing to fear
And nothing to hope”. You can see this in two ways.. I see this in the positive way. If there is nothing to fear that is very good and if there is nothing to hope, it seems to me that then this person is satisfied what she/he has or where she/he is otherwise she/he had something to hope. I understand also the other meaning and I hope things get better.. anyway very interestingly written. Have a good weekend and say hello to your lovely cats π±π±π±
Hello, Jean! Good to see you!
I love that you pulled a positive meaning out of these words. I agree with you. π
You have a good weekend, too, and the cats say, “Meoooow!” which means hello. π π

But there’s that hopeful light at the end. I just know there’s a HEA awaiting us.
I can’t imagine it going any other way than HEA, Jacqui.
