Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts.
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #77:
- When you eat out, do you order the same thing or try something new every time?
- Do you have a “sweet tooth”?
- Does the vastness of the ocean make you feel small or free?
Here are my answers:
- It depends on my mood, but I do like to try new things.
- No, not at all. I’m more of a savory person.
- It makes me feel free.

And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

When I go to a restaurant I usually find something I really like and stick with it but not always.
I love sweets.
Hi, Court! I can understand sticking with the tried and true, for sure.
I know you do! 😀
Kymber, a fun set of questions! Like you, I find the ocean liberating and a wonderful sense of freedom. However, arriving in the middle of the night in Florida, the condo looked over the Atlantic however as it was pitch black I could only hear the terrifying roar – I dashed inside until morning! 😀
At restaurants I love to try something new and that I wouldn’t cook at home. Often the choice is rather limited for vegetarians, however. Oh yes, I definitely have a sweet tooth and enjoy anything with chocolate!
I’m glad you like them.
I would have dashed inside too! Lol
I’m like you in that I like to order what I wouldn’t cook at home.
Go, chocolate 🍫! 😀
Thank you so much for playing!
Great Q&A, Kymber. 1. It depends where I go. Often, something new is unavoidable. 2. I prefer savory food, 3. Neither, it makes me feel energized and refreshed.
Thank you, Robbie.
That makes sense.
Me, too!
I like that. Good answer!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Caturday!
Hi Kymber, happy Friday! Here are my answers.
1) When you eat out, do you order the same thing or try something new every time?
If they have one dish that I absolutely love, I’ll tend to get it each time. If they’re all good, or I’m someplace new, I’ll get whatever sounds good.
Do you have a “sweet tooth”?
Yes, esp watching movies in bed 😂
Does the vastness of the ocean make you feel small or free?
Free, like I’m connected to something much bigger than myself. I get this feeling a lot when I’m out surfing.
Hi there and happy Friday to you, too!
Sounds like a good plan to me.
I can see how that would happen. Lol
Surfing is cool!
Thank you so much for playing!
Thanks for providing this fun forum, Kymber. I’m always behind, because the notification emails show up at least half a day later. 🤔 Anyway…
1) When you eat out, do you order the same thing or try something new every time?
I like to change it up, sometimes, but often order something “tried and true”.
2) Do you have a “sweet tooth”?
Definitely! I never keep chocolate in the house, because I’ll polish it off much too quickly. 🫢
3) Does the vastness of the ocean make you feel small or free?
Free and alive! 😎
No worries. I’m just so happy you play.
Tried and true is the reliable thing to do.
Lol. I would do that, too.
Yes! Me, too!
Have a wonderful weekend! 🌸🩷
I like savory stuff but I am very sweet toothed! X
Lol I hear you on that one. 🩷🩷
The vastness of the ocean is freeing, and it makes me realize how we’re all blips in the universe.🌊
This is so true! You make a good point. 🌊

Thank you so much for playing! I’ll be right over. 🩷🌸
1 Once I identify a dish I like, after trying several, I order the same one most of the times.
2 Not really. I like flan and rice pudding but only in small doses.
3 Free and happy…I am from an island 😊
I totally get that. It makes sense.
That’s good.
Oooh, how cool!
Thank you so much for playing! 🌸🩷
These are my answers:
When you eat out, do you order the same thing or try something new every time? — It depends on how often I’ve visited the restaurant. The first few times I try different things, then I settle for the dish I liked best, and then after I’ve been there many times I start trying other things again.
Do you have a “sweet tooth”? — Yes I do, but I know it is not healthy to eat a lot of sweets.
Does the vastness of the ocean make you feel small or free? — I am a pretty good swimmer so it does not scare me a lot but being far out in the ocean can be a bit unsetting. However, being near the coast of a country where everyone is free to roam everywhere, such as Sweden and other Scandinavian countries make me feel free. I know I can visit any island or coastline without worrying about who owns it.
That makes sense about when it’s best to eat new things or stick with dishes you know and consider favorites.
That takes a lot of self-control.
I agree the ocean can be a bit unsettling. Sweden sounds so wonderful.
Thank you so much for playing, my friend.

Thank you, my brother. ☺️
I rarely eat out, and I usually order the same thing: something with chicken or a cheese pizza.
Sweet tooth
I’m a landlubber. I’ve only experienced the ocean once, which was flying over it for hours to get to Hawaii for my youngest son’s wedding and then walking on the beach during the week we were there. The vastness of the ocean and all that water and all the swimmy things in it scare the bejeebers out of me. I’d say I had a feeling of smallness rather than a sense of freedom.
I think eating the same things is the safest way to go.
I can understand that.

Do you have a “sweet tooth”? We have dessert every night. So, yes.

Me, too. I get bored easily.
Cool!
I bet it was nice to live on the Gulf.

1.) I very, very rarely eat out at restaurants. But I do like ordering food for delivery. Sometimes I look for new things, but I prefer something I already know. My favorite is Tom Ga Gai (a Thai coconut soup with coriander, chicken, and vegetables…comfort food).
2.) Oh yes, I love sweets. I always keep a good supply on hand, and my mother occasionally surprises me with a package, which I then have to tell her later that she shouldn’t send me so much. Luckily, I don’t have diabetes yet, LOL.
3.) Thinking about the vastness of the ocean, I feel rather small… 🙂 We’re like ants on the world map…
Ordering in is so much more convenient. I love Thai food.
Your mother sounds so sweet.
You are definitely right about that!
Thank you so much for playing.🌸🩷

Do you have a “sweet tooth”? Yes, ice cream is my favorite sweet thing.
Does the vastness of the ocean make you feel small or free? Small. Very small.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Kymber. Love and hugs. ♥
Hi, Sandee!!
At least you know you will like them then.
Ice cream is so good. What’s your favorite kind?
You have a wonderful rest of your week too. Love and hugs. 🩷🌸😘
Good answers. All a little different from mine.
Thank you, Jacqui. 🌸🩷
