It was peaceful, like living in a different world. In the Spring, you just wake up one morning and everything has come alive. All of a sudden, birds and squirrels are all chattering, and it’s quite lovely.
I love the photo – my very first thought was how smart that sunflower was in picking a bit of fence to use as a prop so it wouldn’t droop or fall over in the wind or rain…….
