If you could sit on a bench in beautiful woods, who would you like sitting next to you on the bench and why?
What was your least favorite food as a kid and do you still dislike it?
What game show would you like to be a contestant on?
Here are my answers:
- My grandma and grandpa. I miss them so.
- Peas. And I loathe them even now. Luckily, The Mister doesn’t like them either.
- Family Feud.

1) My dad. There are so many things I never got to ask him.
2) Asparagus. The stringy things stuck at the back of my throat and made me gag. One TG was marred by an “unfortunate incident. 🤮😂

I’m late to the party on this one.
1. If I could sit on a bench in some beautiful woods, my first choice would be to have my wife sitting with me. Except that now I just went back up and read your answers, and it makes me wish that I could sit on that bench with my dad.
2. Hominy. And, honestly, I don’t know if I still dislike it, because I haven’t tried any since.
3. That’s a tough one for me. Family Feud is definitely a good answer. Is “Name That Tune” still a thing? I’m pretty good at that.

I think having your wife there is lovely, but so is your dad. I grew up on hominy and I agree with you. lol Name That Tune would be sooo fun!

My Aunt Inger who passed away last year. I have so much I would like to say to her.

I have a friend that passed away right before the pandemic, and I didn’t learn about it until months later after trying to contact her several times. I’d love to have just one more hour with her.
Mustard, mayo, peppers, and onions – and it hasn’t changed. Even the smell of mustard makes me sick.
I think we’d be a hoot on Family Feud – maybe we could play your family, Kymber!

I like your answers. I used to like peas – the green kind, but not so much any more. Now blackeyed peas I love.
my answers would be, of course all my relatives who’ve passed on, but also my sister who just lives so far from us I haven’t seen her in several years. We could talk about the good old days when we were kids.
Food I hated then and I hate now – applesauce – I had to take medicines in applesauce when I was little, so I can’t stand it now, but I love actual apples. haha
Game show would be fun to be on Family Feud, or better would be Name That Tune. I’m pretty good at knowing a song from the first few notes. 🙂

Oh did you open the door here, so I’m gonna walk right in! I want to sit next to so many people, like my mom who had dementia the last month of her life, leaving me with unsaid things and unanswered questions. So I would say I want to sit next to God, because He knows all the answers to my questions.
Red beans and rice. Mom didn’t know about spice, so they were bland and dry and tasteless as well. Now I like them, especially from Popeye’s!
I’ve always wanted to be on Jeopardy, but I’m not smart enough so my second pic would be Wheel of Fortune!
Wheel of fortune would be fun! I was a hospice nurse for years and my specialty was dementia patients. I know how hard that is for families and loved ones. That would be nice if you could sit on the bench with God.

Yellow whipped squash. A man made me eat some when I was seven years old. Can’t even smell it today.
Jeopardy. Have always liked it.
My dad’s dad died when my dad was 7. He has told me so many stories. I wish you could speak to your dad again. I could see you playing jeopardy!

1. My mom. I told her that I loved her a lot, but I had covid and couldn’t be with her during her last days. I’d like to tell her I love her one more time.
2. Lima Beans! Yuck. Does anyone like lima beans?
3. Definitely one of those obstacle course game shows: Cannonball or Wipeout. I’d be screaming or laughing the whole time.

A lot of people don’t like peas. I don’t get it.

Can not believe I never knew you hate peas! How did that little detail escape our friendship? I do like the Family Feud, I just think you have to be clever on the spot while being watched by millions of people. My brain would go blank!

Vegetables. I love all of them now. Turns out, I really don’t like when they’ve been boiled to oblivion in salted boiling water leaving them tasteless, salty, squishy, and watery. Steamed vegetables are delicious.
Mastermind. Its a quiz show where you’re asked both general knowledge questions, and your chosen subject. I have a lot of special interests I know a lot about, it would be so fun to be asked questions on those. Even if I got one wrong, it would make me excited to know, there’s still even more I can learn.
