I shall leave my answers here:
- I would pay off my children’s houses as well as my parents’ and sisters’.
- Definitely tacos. Every day is Taco Tuesday. lol

- I don’t know. I think it’s possible.
- Maples. Soooo pretty!

First thing to buy if winning lottery? Probably a safe haven house for cats and dogs. A place where they could roam free and have all the toys, food and water and comfy beds they wanted!
Unlimited Tacos for sure!
If a time machine was available I would def test it out. I would love to travel way back in time. Not sure how far back but maybe with JFK?
I do NOT believe in aliens
and my fav kind of tree is willow tree. something about it look sad and happy at the same time
Great answers, it’s nice getting to know you better.
If I won the lottery, I’d probably buy us a house for retirement and donate a lot to charity. Definitely tacos since I don’t care for raw fish (I only eat cooked sushi). I’d be the first in line for the time machine. Yes on the aliens – can’t believe were the only lifeform in multiple galaxies. And any tree that gives me enough shade to read under, but maples sure are lovely in the fall.
I like very much what you would do with the money. Security in retirement is so important. I don’t care for raw fish either.🤢🤮 I always get sushi that doesn’t have any fish in it. Blech. LOL Me, too! We can save each other a place in line. lol I like what you think about aliens, too. For me, it’s fun to think about. I love a shady tree, too. My sister used to have a huge maple in her back yard and it was always so nice and cool to sit under.
Interesting questions! 🙂
1) If we won the lottery, we would firstly help our family and friends who needed it, along with favourite charities. As for material purchases, a newer, somewhat larger house (not a mansion!) would be nice.
2) Not a consumer of either, but I’d take tacos over sushi.
3) Absolutely! I’d love to travel back in time, especially to the ancient world.
4) I think aliens probably exist. In 1968, my friends and I saw a cluster of UFOs in the sky – round globes of light moving slowly. We never found out what they were.
5) I love evergreens, especially blue spruce, but weeping willows are also beautiful.
1) I love that. There are some charities I would love to support, too.
2) Tacos rule! lol
3) Meeee, too! That would be so cool!
4) That is awesome! I would love to hear more about that experience you had with your friends. That’s incredible. You never found out what they were, but I wonder if anyone else in the area saw it, too? So cool!
5) I agree with you about the trees. My sister had a big, beautiful maple in her backyard and it felt so lovely and cool, sitting beneath it.
Hmmmm…some interesting questions Kymber. But if I won the lottery, well after I paid off my house and all of my bills, I would more than likely do something extremely foolish! 😂😝🤣 And I would love it too! 😜
I’m glad you liked the questions. 😀 It would be so easy to do something foolish with the money. I figure that it’s probably good I don’t win it. haha 😂🤣
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
-I honestly have no idea, so much comes to mind.
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?
-Sushi, gluten free, every day, morning, lunch and dinner. 🙂
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out?
Of course
Do you believe in aliens?
Yep, some walking here on earth don’t act human.
What’s your favorite kind of tree?
Christmas tree
-It would be hard to decide for sure what to get if you won the lottery.
-Great answer! I didn’t think about gluten free but it makes sense.
-Me, too!
-I totally agree.
-Oh, that is a terrific answer! I love Christmas trees, too. I used to tell my children that the Christmas tree is an arrow to heaven. 🙂 xo
Not sure why I am anonymous. It’s Bridget from The Happy Quitter
I don’t know, but it’s happening a lot. I’m sorry for that. I’ve tried changing settings, but it doesn’t seem to help. I might have to contact Jetpack.
Thank you for identifying yourself. xoxo
Your replies on your blog (replies to my comments) don’t show up either. I have to go to your blog and look for new posts from you
Oh dear that’s not good. I’m so sorry for the trouble. I will definitely look into this problem. Thank you so much for letting me know.
New homes for myself and a few loved ones 2. Unlimited tacos 3. Yes I would. 4. I believe they MIGHT be out there, but I don’t believe that they are already visiting us. 5. White Birch, because it’s the name of my favorite polo team.
If I won the lottery, I’d see that my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson were financially secure. I know a person who won, and he endowed a low vision clinic. I’d like to do something like that.
Tacos, tacos, tacos.
I might travel back to college and get a pizza at my favorite hole in the wall pizza place.
I have seen Marvin Martian on TV and thoroughly believe it’s likely there are others.
I love sycamore trees in the fall with their huge, golden leaves. They turn just before Christmas here. However, nothing beats a pine forest.
Fun questions, thank you!
Hi, George!
Financial security is so important. I like your answer.
Yes to tacos, tacos, tacos! lol
Now, that is a great idea! What toppings would you get?
I love Marvin Martian. “You Make Me Very Angry Very Angry Indeed.” lolol 😂🤣
Sycamores are so beautiful. I love them, too. And a pine forest, too!
I’m so glad you thought the questions were fun! 😀
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
~ I’d probably invest most of, leaving myself some to live on and make improvements. How much are we talking about anyway?
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?
~ tacos, definitely
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out?
I probably would, but don’t know what era I’d go to
Do you believe in aliens?
~not sure,
What’s your favorite kind of tree?
~ Holly is my favorite, then anything I can put in the wood stove to burn
-Investing it is such a good idea. Financial security is important. I’ll leave the amount up to you. I didn’t know what to say it was. LOL
-YAY tacos!
-It would be hard for me to choose, too. I do love researching the Tudor era, so maybe I would go there.
-I’m not sure either.
-Hollys are so beautiful! And I love wood stoves.
Great questions and answers, Kymber. I loved your first answer and I’d do the same. Then I’d have my bathroom refinished (needs it BAD!) Then I’d give away tons to money to causes that I care about. Okay, you didn’t ask for the top three, but I couldn’t resist.
I’m with you on the tacos 🙂
I’d travel to the past as long as I could get back instantly in case of trouble.
Aliens? Sure.
Favorite Tree? That’s a hard question! I love maples, birches, and redwoods!
Thanks for the fun, my friend.
Thank you so much, Diana. 🙂 I need to renovate a bathroom, too. And my kitchen! Great answer!
Tacos are best! 😀 lol
Yes, same here. It’s important to have an escape planned. lol I want to go to the Tudor era, but I’m afraid I would not understand how they spoke and they might think I’m a witch or something. lol
I’m not sure, but it’s possible, I think.
I forgot about redwoods! They are amazingly beautiful!
I’m glad you had fun with this. 🙂
Yes, time travel has it’s challenges besides the language and being burned at the stake. There’s also the lack of bathing and dental hygiene. Lol.
Oh, yes, those are good points. LOL 🤍🌺
Lottery win: Buying anything wouldn’t happen until I paid off my immediate family’s debts.
Never Sushi = 🤮
Tacos = barely tolerable – Given those choices, I’d take tacos.
Time machine – No. I wouldn’t test it.
Aliens – Yes.
Tree – Russian Olive
Yes, that’s a great answer. I think I would do the same
LOL at your sushi answer. I just can’t handle raw fish, myself. But I like it if it’s vegetarian.
That’s so interesting that you wouldn’t test it.
Yes to aliens! Cool!
I’m looking up Russian Olive right now… Oh, my goodness! How beautiful!
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Your idea is very sweet and my husband would say something similar. But, me personally, I don’t believe in lottery because I truly believe it’s a stifled concept.
We are so much more capable than a one-shot win. I want to be known as a writer, not a lottery winner. So, it’s a “no” for me.
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?
If they are vegan – both, though sushi may win because I love ume plum and rice.
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out?
Yes, I agree with you about reliving the past. I would love to again see my mom, grandma, and friend Vin, who was like a brother to me.
Do you believe in aliens?
Yes.
What’s your favorite kind of tree?
A tree with autumn leaves. But I also love palm trees.
I love your response about the lottery. That’s really interesting.
Yes, to vegan tacos and sushi. I’m with you on that. I cannot fathom eating raw fish, for one thing. Let’s just leave the fish where they belong. I need to try plum and rice.
Oh, yes, that is a beautiful thought about seeing the people you love again. I would really want to see all my grandparents. They were so important to me, and I really cherished them.
I’d love to hear more about your thoughts on aliens.
Autumn leaves are the best, I totally agree. I’m really attracted to Autumn colors. Palm trees are lovely, too.
Happy First Sunday of Advent, Kymber.
Thank you so much, Michael. I really appreciate that. 🙂
I love maples, too!
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? (I’d pay off my daughter’s student loan)
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life? (Sushi, I’m hooked on it!)
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out? (No. Call me chicken but I’ll stay in my timezone, thank you very much.)
Do you believe in aliens? (Maybe?)
What’s your favorite kind of tree? (Orange!)
Yes to maples!
Oh, yeah, paying off the student loan is a good idea. I hate that there is so much student debt out there.
That’s great about sushi!
LOL about staying in your timezone. I agree with you on that. If I took a ride in a time machine, I would want a quick escape plan back to present time.
That’s how I am about aliens, too.
Orange trees are wonderful!
Hmmmm….
Lottery? A permanent shelter for local homeless folks instead of temporary in-at-9 pm, out-at-6am and only on super cold days. Open in daytime too for keeping warm…
Sushi or tacos? Hard decision! Sushi I think … tacos are easier to make, lol!
Time machine? No thanks!
Aliens? After seeing the “Men in Black” films, I’ve been seeing them all around, LOL!
Favorite tree? Maple–love those fall colors!
I love your answer about the lottery covering shelter for the local homeless people. That is a super idea.
Tacos are definitely easier to make. I’ve never made sushi because I find it intimidating. lol
I like your answer about the time machine. I would want a quick escape if necessary. lol
I love MIB! Those movies are awesome!
I love the Fall colors, too. 🙂
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? An electric volvo
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life? Unlimited tacos but I like sushi as well
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out? The thing is time travel into the future is possible, we do it all the time (pun not intended), but time travel back in time is certainly impossible for a number of good reasons, but if it was, it would be super dangerous. You could go back in time and kill your ancestor and you and maybe thousands of other relatives would never have existed. Well, I guess if you never existed then you couldn’t go back in time…well you see where I am going with this.
Do you believe in aliens? There’s no evidence for the existence of alien life, and certainly not intelligent alien life. However, that does not mean it doesn’t exist. I just don’t know. As Arthur C. Clarke said “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”
What’s your favorite kind of tree? Pine trees
Nice about the electric Volvo!
I think it’s a hard decision, but tacos rule for me. 😀
Oh, my, that is really an interesting answer about how time travel to the future is possible. I never thought about it like that before. I think it would be dangerous, too. It’s interesting to think about, that’s for sure.
I don’t know either, tbh. I like the Arthur C. Clarke quote!
Pine trees are so beautiful and they smell really good, too.
I think your intentions with regard to the lottery funds say a lot about your beautiful soul. World cruise? Plastic surgery? Mink coat? Nope, first thing we pay off OTHER people’s houses! Hahaha!! That’s our Kym!
Awww… thank you so much Ana. I think you have a beautiful soul, too. One of the happiest times of my life was when my mother told me I had a beautiful soul. Thank you for your kindness. xoxo
Aha! She did! You see? 👌✨
I was crying, I don’t remember why, and my mother sat on my bed with me. She looked into my eyes and said, “Kimmy, you have such a beautiful soul.”
I was 21 years old.
I can’t believe I forgot that until you said it. I appreciate so much that reminder. xoxo
Oh, that’s a moment worth remembering, all right!
She and I must have seen the same things when we looked at you…
You are the sweetest, Ana. 🤍🌺❤️🤍🌺❤️ Truly. I’m glad to remember that moment, and I will never forget it again.
👍✨
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? A summer house in the mountains to escape the Texas heat.
Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life? Tacos. They are high on my food pyramid
If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out? You bet. I’m writing about time travel right now.
Do you believe in aliens? Yes indeed. Too much concrete information about their existence not to believe.
What’s your favorite kind of tree? My wife gave me a Magnolia for my 80th birthday. That is my favorite.
That summer house sounds wonderful!
LOL about tacos being high on your food pyramid. I had to laugh because my daughter is the same way. She would eat tacos every day if possible.
I can’t wait to read what you’re writing about time travel. I love time travel stories!
Magnolias are lovely. I think that’s so nice your wife gave you one for your birthday. My father just turned 80 this year.
My tree is two years old. Times a flying
It sure is. 🙂 Many blessings to you, John.
😊
A brand new luxury motor home
Tacos
Yes, many things I would love to do over!!
Nah
Hard to decide! Palm trees, Pines that look like Christmas trees, giant oak trees dripping with Spanish moss…all so pretty!
Nice! I think that would be so fun to have.
Yes, to tacos!
Interesting about the time machine. I would love to hear your thoughts on that.
Palm trees are wonderful, but so are all the others you listed, too.
I always enjoy your questions and answers, Kymber. I’ll stick to the easy ones. * Lotto purchase: the perfect little home (with somehow no maintenance, soundproofing, all the “magic” details). *Tacos or sushi? Groan… you just reminded me how very long it’s been since I had sushi and I love it. *Aliens? Yes. I’m sure they’re already here. Although I don’t believe they are anything like we’d expect, and we might not even think of them as “aliens”. But that goes with the big dose of my innate skepticism — I believe all sorts of outrageous things are possible — until I’m confronted by a specific real-life instance. o_O Thanks for this post. Hugs.
Hi, Teagan!
I’m so glad you enjoy these posts. I really love reading all the responses. Everyone is so interesting!
I love your thoughts on the perfect little home. Sounds so cozy and nice.
I haven’t had either sushi or tacos in a long time, too. But we did get the makings for tacos yesterday from the grocery store. 😀
I love what you said about aliens! That’s a cool idea.
Hugs to you, too.
You get the most unique questions, Kymber.
Thank you so much, Jacqui! I’m so glad you stopped by! xo
Hey Kymber!!
First this time? Yay!
-What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? I’m not much of an investor, and I’m in the same boat as you in that I would assist family in finalizing house payments. Also treat my wife to travelling a little more often.
-Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life? Tacos without a doubt! If it’s cheap tacos versus cheap sushi, the answer is still tacos. Expensive tacos vs expensive sushi, it’s still tacos.
-If a time machine was invented tomorrow, would you want to test it out? Not personally, but I can understand why someone would
-Do you believe in aliens? I definitely believe that we’re not alone in the universe. Haven’t invested too much thought into it though.
-What’s your favorite kind of tree? Pine trees, and no specific one. Pines remind me of some of the places that are most important/enjoyable to me. I do have a peach, apple and pear tree behind my house that I love though. And I love that maple pic you posted!
Great questions and best wishes!!!!
Hey, there, Gorilla! Nice to see you!
-Travel would be so nice! I bet your wife would love that.
-Tacos for me, too. LOL I love your answer. haha
-Yes, I can understand that, too. Personally, I would need an escape plan handy to feel comfortable about traveling to the past.
-Me, neither. But I’ve been thinking about it more since reading everyone’s answers.
-Pine trees are lovely. So are the fruit trees you mentioned.
Best wishes to you, too!
Hi Kymber. Fun questions! If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d do is book an amazing trip to escape and figure out who gets what from me, lol. I’ll take the sushi! If I went into a time machine, I only want to visit segments of my life. There must be aliens, and of course, being a Canadian, I’ll choose the Maple. Hugs <3
I’m glad you enjoyed the questions. 😀 I think travel is a great idea! That would make great memories. I can understand only wanting to visit segments of your life. That makes sense to me. I have been thinking about aliens lately since reading everyone’s responses. lol Yes, to the maple! 😀 xo hugs to you, too.
Lol, the aliens are probably shaking their heads at us! 🙂 <3 xx
Hahaha! I bet you’re right. 😀
🙂 🙂
After my family was set the only luxury I would want for myself is a silver, blue or white corvette
Tacos, and rolaids
Time machine…definitely. To the past to relive some things and redo and fix others.
Aliens…sure I believe. We visit other planets. Why can’t other beings do the same.
Tree…a Christmas Tree of course. But a magnolia tree or a dogwood is nice too. Oh…and my family tree I guess is kind of neat.
Now for you…
What was your favorite age.
Would you rather bake bread or buy it.
Would you ever donate an organ to someone
Who was you favorite president of this country
How often do you exercise.
My answers…
Favorite age 17, definitely.
I love to bake bread. Makes the house smell great and it is sooo good!
Donate an organ? I tried once but was turned down. Now with my cancer, under control, I can’t.
James Earl Carter
Exercise daily.
I love the old, curvy Corvettes. I love the colors you chose.
Tacos and Rolaids. hahahaha That made me LOL. 😂🤣
I can see wanting to change a few things, too.
I love the trees you mentioned. They are all so beautiful.
Answers to your questions:
1. I would say 16 was a great year. I met my husband in high school that year, although, we never dated in high school. He was one of my best friends.
2. I would rather bake it. It makes the house smell so good.
3. Yes, for sure. My bff recently got both a liver and kidney. If I’d matched up, I would have gladly given her a kidney.
4. My favorite president would be Abraham Lincoln. He was so wise, and funny, too. He did so much for our country.
5. Ummm… not as much as I should, that’s for sure.
That’s interesting you chose 17. I loved that year, too.
I totally agree with you on that!
I really feel for you about not being able to and your fight with cancer. My daughter fought cancer, too. I am so thankful she made a full recovery after chemo and radiation treatments. She was pregnant at the time, too, and the baby just turned 3 and she is healthy and so, so sweet.
I like your answer of Jimmy Carter.
That’s great that you exercise daily. I should do that, too.
Great thing about your daughter and the baby. Proves to me, there is a God.
Yes, indeed. I believe it, too.
